Someone downthread asked for explanations. So:
Human brain after right parietal stroke. Image upside down, so damaged area appears on left. Note the dark empty area where brain matter used to be, but now there is nothing. The real horror of this image is that this person has been repeatedly denied gibs, while munchies get it for their "fibromyalgia" all the time.

This image was made, to illustrate one of the optical symptoms of a stroke; where everything looks familiar, but completely scrambled or alien.
