Hard to decide what's more annoying, that dude's autism, or Bethesda's complete laziness.
It's kind of bad style to punish or berate players for being invested in your product tbh.
Especially when the guy doing it is the marketing director. If his entire stance can be summed up as "It's just a silly game, don't take it so seriously" that inspires no confidence in the care taken to make the game.

people don't seem to realize that even if something isn't realistic
it can still be consistent
and it's that consistency that helps us enjoy fictional worlds

gandalf isn't real, but people would question if suddenly at the end of the trilogy he just grew to 100 feet tall and shot lasers from his eyes.
