I heard that term at work before. I guess it's supposed to mean whether or not you're able to tell one's emotions and regulate your own. Not very helpful when others' intelligence levels aren't very high.

There is often an assumption on the part of biology-denier types that low IQ people are intrinsically good and that high IQ people are cold and manipulative - an extension of noble savage type thinking.

The opposite is true though. Intelligent people are more likely to consider others' feelings, future outcomes etc. Even a sperg will run a few calculations whereas retards just act on impulse.

Obviously it's not a 1.0 correlation

Neologism meant something in the past, capturing the zeitgeist of the period, but the rapid velocity in which trends change means that phrases and new words lose their meaning very fast.

I belive the current year term that pisses me off is Fake News, it's a simplicity take on reality, where you, must be indocrinated in an universal, accepted truth that sometimes doesn't apply entirely to the subject because it's a matter of viewpoint or even in some cases, to so called souce of truth is just fabricating a new narrative.

Using "cringe" or "cringy" as a descriptor. I'm surprised it became endemic instead of dying out. It's just another cutesy zoomer way of calling things retarded. Just be up front when something sucks.
What's a better word for things that make you cringe?

The term "Pozzed" infuriates the fuck outta me.
WTF does it even mean??? It sounds like something you'd say at a bar plastered.
It comes from an old video/story from about a decade ago that was following this really gross gay group that was purposely spreading HIV to each other; getting "pozzed" meant you were getting a positive HIV test result. Basically saying that something is pozzed is saying that the topic is really fucked up and bastardized/infected, etc.

whiteness

SJW-speak for things which promote real progress, like punctuality or logic. Or another soy way to say "dissent", while also trying to BS whites to feel bad for being white.

Normalization of terms “Fake news” and “misinformation” were part of globohomo push to create defacto Ministry of Truth during plandemic. Thank god it failed as even normies managed to spot balant lies that institutions like Snopes were pushing. Thus every time i hear those words i am reminded that we are living in clown world.

I also find it utterly disturbing that some people watch YouTubers that religiously that they comment on their video’s with their first name
Friend there are boomers and Gen x on that site flashing their full name in their handles

They'll sit in their air conditioned, heated, electricity based house using the Internet to complain about how white men are evil. If they want a paradise free of the white man's inventions, rural India's right there.

I have never used "unalive" unironically and never will. It's one of the most retarded terms of the past few years. Some people use it to trick the algorithm because muh demonitization. Death is a fact of life and people need to learn to come to terms with it already.

Putting 'already' at the end of a suggestion or request. The word denotes a completed action.

This reminds me of the so-called accusation of "acting too white," which is something I've mentioned in a different thread. The retards who often complain about whiteness or whatever are the most ghetto trash stereotypes in existence and not worth taking seriously.

Emotional intelligence. Women love to bandy this one about, so that's how you know it's bullshit psychobabble.
American rap artist Nelly had something to say about E.I. back in the day. (NSFW warning.)

Interpretation of the term is mixed, but we used to think it meant every inch (i.e., deepthroating during a blowjob).

Thread tax -

"Slaps" when referring to something good (e.g., music). It sounds like something a 12-year-old with a lisp says.

Music doesn't slap; it bangs, especially if it's a banger. 🤣

"Fake news" was normalized years before covid - it took off a decade ago (amped by Trump's use in 2016) (and is on the wane, yay). Its biggest modern conceptual precedent was Sarah Palin's 2009-2010 use of "lamestream media" to suggest that anything asserted or reported by major news channels is a lie, and conspiratorially incorrect in order to manipulate the "sheeple."

I agree it's a dumb term to use in seriousness, but it was unfortunately being used unironically before covid. Agree hope it dies a sharp death.

harmful (in a soy way)

Leftists sure like conflating dissent with real harm. Poison is harmful. Radiation is harmful. Saying open borders is bad is not harm.
He was saying that adoption of hopelessness/ "why try" attitudes leads to harm because widespread adoption means not even trying to make things better. He was talking about improving poverty etc., but the concept of the quote applies to whatever your definition of "better" is. Where's the lie or misuse? I don't see it being adopted as a stand-in for "dissent" anywhere.

Anyone who says "my guy" should be forced into this machine.

It's like the calling card of the kind of fucking faggot who wants to appear as a chilled out bro while condescending to people from an unwarranted sense of authority.

The same goes for "my friend", "my brother", "my brother in Christ".
