Just want to say that the new trailer for a new Saints Row game came out, and I am not impressed.
Also, am I supposed to be threatened by a woman that looks like this?
She just looks like a fake version of Sombra from Overwatch:
Admittedly, this is probably the first time where I thought out loud that the character in the trailer made me visually uncomfortable. I rarely ever care about female (fictional) characters like that, but the hairstyle chosen was just tacky for some reason.

I'm calling bullshit on this being a new Saints Row, this looks like someone at Volition pitched in a sequel for agents of Mayhem, then when that failed they just presented the same game, called it Saints Row and was approved based on brand recognition.

Kinoko Nasu has directly asked fans to NOT spoil Tsukihime because the redone visual novel is probably going to be adapted to an anime series and he wants a new generation of fans to enjoy it.
The remake has all the porn removed across the board because the young ones remaining pure is something important to Nasu's heart (and wallet). It's also getting a global release but it's currently unknown which companies are going to do it.

I dunno I wouldn't bother with it mostly because it will be dead within a year, GTA is like Wow and outside of company wide destruction people won't fucking move off their invested time to a similar game.

Yet somehow a web browser with the augmented Steam add-on works ten times better.
I really hate all the extra shit being packed into Steam. I only use it to launch games, and I even have the overlay disabled. But obviously it needs updating every 3 days and includes 9000 features I've never used a single time. All working slowly and clumsily, as god intended.

Unsurprisingly, the sole thing that caught my interest in Gamescom was the Turtle Ninjas game with the reveal of April as a playable character. Leave it to the horny frenchies.
It's not exactly newsworthy however considering it's not a uncommon occurrence among japanese publishers to ask customers in not spoiling the game's story, like it's been the case for Persona or the Yakuza games in the past. Even going as far to block the in-built streaming feature of the PS4, which can be disabled at specific parts of the game. I also know that Bandai Namco did disable the screenshot & video recording capabilities of the Switch in Super Robot Wars games once you get past the first few missions, certainly for a similar reason.
I just believe it's a silly and annoying practice that can be easily bypassed by a video capture card on a PC.
Tsukihime remake is reported to be rewritten in parts and it's only featuring the Nearside contents of the original VN (meaning it only has the vampire lady and the battle nun as heroine routes, the ojousama and twin maids are in the Farside). Also here's the official notification (follow-up) from the Type-Moon publisher in regard of the spoilers thing.

I don't know what /v/ is saying, but I'm with them. SR3 was a classic, and 2 and 4 were really good. Far better than GTA4 at the time.
I liked the idea behind Agents of Mayhem, but shoddy gameplay ruined it, and the wokeness didn't help. Shame to see them putting a nail in the coffin instead of course correcting.
I'm not too bummed about it. SR4 ended in a way that made it clear that any sequels that aren't historical settings are alternate timelines. I never played Gat Out of Hell because SR4 was such a definitive end to the series.
I'm fine with that. Casey Jones or Splinter might have been a better fit, but no one really likes Casey Jones. April's moves look fun too, which fits the tone of the game.
I saw a guy on discord say he wanted Mondo Gecko to be playable instead of April. If your response is "who the fuck is Mondo Gecko?", that's correct response because TMNT has few people outside the main cast who would make for a fun player character.

There was a guy who was a programmer on Saints Row 2 that managed to get the source code when it was found and has single handedly been trying to release a patch to fix the PC version of Saints Row 2. He got cancer and had to slow down the effort, but says he's working on it full time now since there's so little time. I don't know if he died or succeeded yet, but my heart goes out to him. A true Saint.
And it doesn't work out for them outside of the initial millions Epic fed them. Their sales are abysmal compared to if they released on Steam, even if Steam's audience hates wokeshit they'll still eat that shit up because they're retarded like that.

Epic still gets it's name out there due to hate rage which is why they tried to position themselves as a rebellion against the norm with the court cases.
People claim console warrior shit doesn't work, but if it didn't then Epic would be dead already. They've outlasted the dreamcast at this point.
Outside of the store they still produce Unreal Engine which is a big deal so it's not just fortnite bucks keeping them alive, but I've always had the feeling that the epic store could be spun off into it's own thing and sold off which may be part of the overall intention. Dressing a company asset up enough to sell to another company it pretty common. Claim the inflated user base numbers due to free game offers and the buyer would think they have millions as a captive audiance.

Don't bring up Epic as a whole because that was not what I was talking about. The store is hemorrhaging money. It's only on life support. It would be dead if Tim would call it quits like he fucking should, but won't because his ego can't take the hit. Only an utter moron would buy it, but there's plenty of them in this industry yet I don't think they will even have the chance because Tim can't take the hit.
