That entirely depends, on PC yeah you could have dedicated private servers you can run if it's outside the influence of a major digital platform like Steam and Battle.net. But on consoles all online activities are on a platform even if it's a private room.
If these pussies would grow a thicker skin over this, they would be better off. Fire back rather than cry about it.

Nobody cares about any Gary other than this Gary Numan (an actual autist).

To be fair, I care in a negative way about Gary Glitter. Some good songs but a heinous person.
I also like Gary Cooper, have respect for Gary Gygax, and enjoy Gary Oldman. Then I start mixing them up with Garrys and Gavins.

Gary Gary Gary.

Gary.

I wish it was this way too, but we need mass banwaves of millions of people before they realize that personal private servers are the way to always go. Nobody really has been hurt by how things are set up so normies arn't going to bother to have a big think about how online activities should be organized and run.

I expect no less from a brit cuck.
I lost all respect for Garry years ago after seeing how he ran the facepunch forums, including the absolute insuferable power tripping jannies he gave the position solely because they happened to be helping with his games, then going on and on about wantint to close the website for what? A year? Only doint it after what few autists remained poked him enough.

This is the same story from last week that was mis-represented.

Players are allowed to record each other and can submit their conversation to sony for moderation purposes if they were wronged by a person online. Sony will not be having employees listen to randos over the network like the NSA and feds do.

This is par for the course with any online network now, even Battle.net has it. You could even use third party software to record people and submit it to any major online network to get people banned for years. I had a family member fuck up and get my my original Xbox 360 account banned when they played SMITE on it and shit like that happened because he kept throwing insults.
That's gonna be fun in two party consent states. Does the ToS basically circumvent your consent with the other party?

All ToS are meaningless jumblewords that hold no real power. They act as a verbal warning at most and nothing more.

What it's going to come down to in those situations is what a private company is allowed to do vs what rights are protected at a state level. This would again pull in social media because you're allowed to do the same shit. Archiving someone's social media post they may try to delete or recording them online would be the same thing as recording a conversation for future use.

I remember Uppers reception being pretty awful. Especially now that Streets of Rage 4 and other games have come out. You're not exactly starving for brawlers.

That and this is basically Final Fight Streetwise.

Checked the Steam reviews, only 22 reviewers for the games and one metacritic review. If their goal is to try and show how they don't need Sony anymore they failed hard.

The silver lining is that Falcom may now give some other company Trails in the Sky 1, 2, and 3 to bring to modern formats.

I think XSeed/Marvelous may wind up being done in because they've had such a long string of badly received games. The last time they had a hit was with the Cold Steel games on the vita and PS3. And even those wound up providing small margins because it took them forever to put out in english.

It depends on how well they can play the victim game. That's how PQube survived for so long.

/v/ loves to cope aboutVR but it is pretty fun though. Someone ported the Jedi Outcast maps to Blade & Sorcery and alongside the Star Wars mods it's really fun to have lightsaber duels with friends. In addition, playing Star Trek Bridge Crew with a full group of friends is a good laugh too. We got thrown around by the Borg last time we played and were trying to figure out how to beat them.

The thing with VR is that it lets you immerse yourself in a world in a way that is very hard to show without putting on a headset yourself. When you do, you have that lightbulb moment when you think to yourself "oh shit, I'm IN THE FUCKING GAME!"

Also, this game looks better than GTApunk: Current Year

it's no surprise that /v/ is too poorfag and retarded to shit on an enthusiast device out of reflex and too zoomer for even the porn.

“I personally don’t like these games, so it’s perfectly fine for them to get censored”, you argue for the millionth time. Dude, you’re like a broken record.

You're talking to the guy who is a massive Sony fan to the point everything that paint it (and the Playstation brand) in a negative light must be some kind of conspiracy. Like CensorsedGaming being somehow in cahots with OAG (despite barely, if ever, mentioned the latter) or PQube/XSeed "being a dramaqueen" when either actual japanese devs and localizers don't know how to deal with the behavior of the californian rating board to get games approved without further changes (that will cost money and time).

Nevermind his argument obsession on popularity appeal towards niche titles, so he feels like everything that doesn't get mainstream attention deserves to die anyway

Dude it's not California who instituted the censorship guidelines. You keep quoting mistruths from these same outlets who are a bunch of people who only see shit through a specific lens of SJW vs Everyone else.

It's a single Japanese man named Kenichiro Yoshida. He can override Jim Ryan and the new guidelines are Yoshida's will alone.

Yoshida didn't want low brow, low quality games from flooding the system because he feels it decreased the value of the brand. He's directly stated he wanted broad appeal and saw how PC gaming in Japan became eternally stuck with the pervert group that they have yet to shake decades later.

Don't believe me? Look when he became the CEO, it was shortly after Super Seducer got delisted and he was on the board. He's made numerous statements how he feels the company should be run and wants forms of curation. He won't be critical of games if they're quality. That's why other games like Slyde got banned because it existed but nothing to sell people trophies. if something gets pulled from PSN the higher ups all have a say in it. He's also the one who had the final say in moving Ghosts up to cover for the failure of TLOU2.

It's also not unheard of of Japanese devs needing to appeal to westernized standards. This isn't an alien concept to them many Japanese industries like cars have been doing that for far longer. It's entirely the reason Toyota is as big as it is. Japan and the US have been conjoined in a ton of areas after the 1940's you're talking 80 years at this point.

What I want is zero effort shovelware games and hacked up DLC fests to be gone from gaming.

again, why do you think sturgeon's law is a thing?

also, let us know when you're forced to buy that shit, because the market can regulate that just fine on it's own.
