This article ticks all the boxes complete with mentioning Charlottesville and Gamergate, but my favorite part is how it even bitches how other woke games aren't woke enough.

This journalists output seems interesting, he seems like a non gamer LARPing as a gamer shilling politically correct indie crap that likely sells 500 copies on Steam at most:

This has become such a daily occurrence I can't even come up with something original to say, other than wow the indoctrination runs deep.

What responsibility is that, pray tell? Far as I know, the only "responsibility" of video games is to entertain the player. Video games have no responsibility for discussing Nazi atrocities because video games are not a place sane people turn towards for historical education or political insight. If you can make a game where this stuff is the subject matter, and it manages to be both entertaining and educational, then godspeed, but Through the Darkest of Times does not appear to be such a game. Nobody is ever going to become a Nazi after playing Call of Duty without political commentary attached, but heavy-handed Trump references in a WWII game are sure to put off a good number of players.

The people who actually got nuked by and large didn't deserve it. Unfortunately, they had shitty leaders who made it inevitable and necessary.

I agree. A ground invasion most likely would have caused more damage than the nukes considering how tenacious the Japanese were. I just wish the survivors didn't have to deal with the few generations of mutations caused by the radiation.
Japan was also basically Germany(well more like Russia) but at sea; they did a fair bit of conquering themselves and weren't just the quirky island nation a lot of people see them as today.
 
Also two things about WWII:

Dresden was bombed because at that point in the war it was the industrial center of the Nazis. It produced and housed a ton of stuff. We didn't bomb the suburbs. Ironically, if we had, we'd have probably crippled Germany economically. So Dresden was a military target to break the German war machine. I am not saying murdering civvies is good, but the war was dragging and casualties were mounting.

What we did to Japan makes Dresden look like a campfire. I am not talking about nukes. We firebombed the ever living FUCK out of their cities which were mostly wood, turning them into raging infernos and death traps. City after city. You'd think being burned alive would be enough but no. They wouldn't surrender even after that. It was then concluded only a land invasion would work, which would lead to horrific casualties on both sides. So we did the only option we had.
 
Remember, partnering with only men is sexist, but partnering with only women is empowering.

Did they go on a rant about men being bad? Did they outright say they've excluded men because fuck them?

Imagine if a company came out and purposely only partnered with male streamers. complete anarchy would follow within seconds.

Well when you are going out of your way to only have female creators, that's pretty gay and it's is kinda implied. It's only because of new age 'woke' politics created by people who do rant about men being bad, so I mean kinda.

It's like people who say "Hur dur, what's the big deal about them making all these white characters black, guys?"
 
Who cares. Game looks like shit, no one wants to play it because it's an Epic exclusive and they need all the hype they can get. Embracing double standards just gets you laughed at. Let them bury themselves and wake me if any of the streamers are utterly embarrassing (they will be).
