Just stop spending money on any consoooooomer shit unless it's on sale for like $10 or a timeless classic that has aged well. You'll save money and maybe find something good to do with your free time. There will NEVER be "le based and redpilled" companies. Branching patches don't count, you have to go beyond CYOA because that's just dialogue choices.

People besmirch neil druckman for being movies due to lack of interactivity, the same applies for clicking text boxes.

You need to tie the game to actual gameplay mechanics, even if it's simple stuff like Broken Sword or hell even Myst. VNs get shit upon for this very reason because it has no gameplay to start with in a medium where gameplay is the defining feature and purpose that sets it apart from other forms of existing media.

Sticking an anime face over an empty void of a piece of software doesn't improve the quality.

Or pirate. I never expect companies to be "based and redpilled", I never expect them to do anything but further their own intrests. One of which is making money. Paying for 60-70$ games is a dealbreaker. I agree with your Consoom comment. Thing is you can complain, criticise companies/devs for decisions and/or practices.

Again, they sell you an interactive book or a LN. CYOA/Route path is the default, you have to lose the game somehow.

But Neil Druckman's games you can shoot/explore in 3d space. TLOU1 and 2 were 3rd person shooters in a zombie apocalypse. So its not comparable to clicking text boxes.

Again they are selling you a book/LN. The main draw is the story/characters.

It doesn't, it can draw more anime fans/weebs to the product however.

I get this, but seeing people act like things were as bad now as in the 90s or so with the right is fucking insane. If the "right-wing" was as powerful and able to censor as much as the left does today, the left never would have gotten to where they are now.
