Not sure where to post this. But I’ve had this link saved for a while. I have never seen this level of coping and decrepit rrat spinning in quite a while. This was prior to the current wave of studio closings and layoffs.

I get where he's coming from. Intentionally create a problem then implement new solution. It's the new Coke versus classic Coke strategy.
 

Yasuke, the “famous” samurai from Japan, is massacring other samurai in the Assassin’s Creed game.

Currently, the trailer is massively and embarrassingly disliked on YouTube, and most of them are coming from actual Japanese gamers that are disappointed in the series for subtly discrediting the history of the Shogun.
 
Kotaku's Alyssa Mercante is asking for a fight against the gaming industry AND the gamers like Frosk did with the G4TV 2021 Reboot. And look how that turned out for Frosk. It's a fight that she's going to regret.

English dubbing was always a laughable profession. dubbers usually have very little talent/experience with voice acting and are usually picked if they're cheap enough. I still find it funny that weebs worship them.

Ah, then I must fell for that one too. Either way, it doesn’t change the fact that the heads of Ubisoft and the PR team surrounding them would do something like this, and I wouldn’t be shocked if their “blocked list“ was filled with actual constructive criticism of people not liking how their character is pretty much disrespecting actual real Japanese history.
 
Not sure if this is the place for it, considering that the studio producing Black Myth: Wukong just put Sweet Baby Inc. on blast for trying to extort them for $7m worth of their DEI services, but it got me thinking about the similarities between AC: Shadows, and the Wukong game. So, in a burst of inspiration, I knocked this out...
