I think Cuba will be a much bigger operation, with Venezuela they had to hold back somewhat thanks to the oilfields, so they had to make a deal with la mona. But with Cuba there is no reason to not make every single one of them hang from under a bridge.

We won't need to park an aircraft carrier off their coast since Cuba is within a couple hundred miles of the highest density of military bases outside of the Four Corners. We've been wargaming an invasion of Cuba since Eisenhower was president so all Trump as to do is pick from one of a dozen or so different war plans and pick an operation name. The only issue is the security of Gitmo. I'm sure the Cubans would love to take over an American naval base.
 
I live in a neighborhood with a fair number of Cuban immigrants, and they seem to think this shit is imminent. Definitely by the end of the year.

I doubt they could. Gitmo would probably go into siege mode. Maybe even be reinforced before this thing kicks off.

Maybe Cuba can power their grid by hooking up the bodies of Che and Fidel, they have to be spinning at light speed in their graves over their country having to accept a CIA delegation.

The US had to build one of the largest armadas in the history of the Caribbean, bomb and assault the capital so they could get Maduro and threaten us, Venezuela, that if we didn't agree to their demands they would keep bombing before we folded meanwhile the Cubans have seemingly surrender without a single shot being fired. Fucking cowards.
 
The Venezuelans had enormous oil reserves, and reasonably expected support from Beijing, Moscow, and Havanna.

Cuba has overrated tobacco.
