I've made it to the final level :0
Bit of a pain in the bum but my bounding head revealed the exit location one time so I think I'm getting close :)

Finally got the third ending but I hear that there's another?
...or maybe the maths on the update post are wrong :/

Here's a fun fact I discovered (perhaps someone else has found it too). If you use the suppressed sniper rifle, you can shoot through glass without breaking it.

You can't shoot through chainlink fence, though...

You can easily test this out on the level Sin Space Engineering.

I love this game. It's overflowing with soul. Cultivate a CEO mindset.

Does the game get preachy?, just asking.
No absolutely not. There's a level vaguely inspired by CHOP/CHAZ (insomuch as you fight secessionists) and one vaguely inspired by the pulse shooting (insomuch as it involves a nightclub) and a descendant of some american talkshow host enlists you to assasinate himself but otherwise it doesn't play left/right games.

One of the levels also involves someone buying a whole collection of funko pops, I think he's even one of the targets but I don't remember

I'd say the message is muddled. There's a "capitalism is bad" angle but it's not really clear what's exactly the point. No one sane would advocate for the current state of affairs of tiny amount of rich billionaires playing the market and making everyone else wage slaves (especially since that exaggeration of modern affairs is due to the government and monopolies assisting each other in blocking out competitors rather than any real free market).
Besides that it's so strange that any real narrative needs to be interpreted from the game.

The mall level is probably the worst it gets. People feel compelled to mindlessly wander around. Anticapitalist-complaining about false scarcity of digital goods to create fake demand to drive up prices. Anticonsoomerist- the scumko pops

Some targets have a shirt that says "im the CEO bitch" on the back.

The guy behind it has the same feelings about it, according to him it's practically a huge shitpost of a game and I do see it even with the sorta anti-capitalist theme but it's supposed to be cyberpunk (more than CP2077) which always has that as an underlying theme

Whether this is actually the case and it isn't just something to keep people from bothering him about it, the game itself is fun and stupid enough that it never really bothered me

Oh yeah, there's also the fact that basically every mission you do is morally ambiguous at best and plain evil at worst.
In that level you're killing a politician because he's running a campaign against large corporations.

the game is a shitpost meme, explaining it or analyzing it is worthless and antithetical.

it’s like when the ADL tried explaining Pepe the Frog - you can’t. Pepe is Pepe, and crying or screaming over it doesn’t illuminate it any further.

It’s just a feeling dude, it feels good man

Literally everything. How the guns handled, the movement, everything.
My brother played the game and had similar opinions to you. He told me that the game is blatantly anti-capitalist, yet you have to pay $20 for this meh-tier, unoptimized, ugly, pretentious, shitty AI, rainbow-vomit trashfire. Thankfully he saw the irony in that price tag and did not spend a single penny on the game. I can hardly watch gameplay without being disgusted at how shit the game looks and plays, so I commend him for managing to actually play it. Despite all he said about the game, he says he was able to enjoy it somewhat and said it was fun, though it may be a sort of post watching a shitty movie cope where he's trying to convince himself it was good so he doesn't have to come to terms with the fact he stayed up at night to try and play through it all for a let's play. Regardless, it is extremely overrated and I think you can see that at a glance.

The premise is that you're working for a corporation specializing in "hostile takeovers", in this case meant literally, in a ridiculously exaggerated dystopian future.

There are also game mechanics that act like an extension of the caricature of a hyper-capitalist society, for example you can steal the organs of enemies you killed and sell them on the black market, with stock-like graphs tracking the price of individual body parts in real time. There is no "this is bad, see" type of preaching, it's just the world your character inhabits, and playing into the market economics can yield big profits. The game is about "capitalism" in same sense Recettear is a game about capitalism. Not akin to an artsy indie game about depression where characters read you excerpts from Das Kapital.

"Here's my opinion of a video game I haven't played but I've heard others talk about it"

Looking at the name of the developer I get the feeling that they really like the type of satire and humor that can be found in Robocop.
