On topic: Nothing more cringe than the ENTIRE original "le ebin randum meme of d00m" translation of Final Fantasy VI. Tries to be dramatic when it should be relaxed, tries to be punny when it should be straight to the point, tries to be sci-fi when it should be simple, tries to be edgy when it should be comedic, and tries to be comedic when it should be serious.

On the topic of 6 trnaslation No idea if you seen this series before but.


He goes through the whole game, and looks at the translation differnces from the Offical English translation, the Oringal Japanses translation, The GBA translaton, A infamous fan translation, and Google translate translation. All at the same time.

I think you might like that if you didn't know about it.





Back on topic. Bordering on cringe, and ironicly funny Chaos Wars English voice acting.

 
Oh I know about that and it's fantastic, Tomato is a great source of translation fun. Powerlevel: I'm involved in the fan translation community, but in a shallow way.

You live in northern NJ and didn't lose power from that? Here in Boston everything was fine, but I remember hearing all about how fucked New Jersey was from that and that you lost power for like two weeks.

Nah, the apartment house my family had lived in at the time didn't lose power.

So I spent time housing friends that did and playing vidya, specifically, SPM.
