There is also the "Curse of Ham" where sadly, no ham is involved. It states that after Noah's son Ham saw him naked, Noah cursed Ham to be subservient to his two brothers (the ancestors of white people and asians). Makes sense.

I know this is an old post, but seriously? Does Popoff still have airtime? He got debunked hard by James Randi in the 80's, when they found out his ability to get information from God was just his wife giving him info via a radio receiver in his ear. They even showed some footage with the radio communication in the background.

I'm so glad I found this thread. I'm a Christian, with all the trappings inherent. I accept the Bibilical account of creation as a matter of faith, but I tend to believe more in intelligent design and I appreciate, understand, and love all science, from evolution to chemistry, from string theory to astrophysics. I don't expect the Bible to be a scientific authority, and I don't believe it was meant to be one. I don't think the Bibilical creation should be taught in science classes anymore than I think evolution should be taught in Sunday School; they are not necessarily at cross purposes but they are unrelated. Biblical creation isn't science, and evolution isn't faith based.

That being said, one of my new favorite things to do is watch people who know absolutely nothing about science trying to disprove it.

Megan Fox (not the hot one), who believes evolutionary theory hasn't advanced at all since Charles Darwin first proposed it, that dragons existed alongside humans (and uses the name of a possible dino species as proof), and can't pronounce eukaryote.


Feuerstein hasn't been doing too much lately, because he's supposedly become a public speaker. But Megan Fox AKA Intolerant Fox constantly films herself going to public exhibits and reviewing them.

I started poking around Megan's youtube channel and she seems like a pretty decent potential lolcow. She accused someone of supporting cp because they believed putting up blocks on library computers is withholding information. What a cunt.
 
Megan Fox cost the library over $100,000 and they have two employees working over 30 hours a week to comply with her FOIA requests just because people may be looking at porn on the computers and they have books in the children's section that go against her religious beliefs.

She's not a lolcow but a terrible person.

One I've heard is that the part where God created man from the Earth and then went to Adam is proof that Blacks are the "mud people." While whites are the true descendants of Adam.

There's also the "Pre-Adamite" theory, which says that non-white people were God's "test batch," so to speak, before reaching perfection (read: whiteness) in Adam. Thus, people of color have no souls and are a different species.

Which raises the question of why an omnipotent being would NEED a "test batch," why genetic evidence ties modern Jews and Arabs, not Caucasians, to the region the Bible takes place in, why interracial couples can produce fertile offspring indefinitely (very much a no-no between different species), etc. etc.

There's also the reason Mormons (until recently) prohibited blacks from the priesthood, because of the "Curse of Ham," i.e. that because of one of the dumber stories in the Bible about Ham seeing his father naked, they were cursed with black skin. (Even though it was Canaan who was cursed.)

And their goofy theories about Native Americans, which they excommunicated a guy for showing to be false with genetic research.

I've also heard the grasping for straws theory that when Eve "swallowed his seed", it means that the Jews were created from Satan's seed. Which is odd, since the bible they use often has God favoring the Jews.
