I stopped watching as soon as he tried to justify fapping to ponies. You just can't try to justify that without sounding like a total dipshit.
 
Once I saw a screencap of a journal entry from this guy on deviantart and he said:
"If you don't like ponies that's racist in a way"

Ah yes, those deplorable fictional character racists!
 
The only brony where I've legitimately gone "He may kill someone one day" was the forum poster who brought his plushie Twilight everywhere (museums, food store, restaurant dates) and humped her several times a day. Then stopped a relationship with a real human being because he felt like he was cheating on his stuffed horse.

If I'm not wrong, I remember seeing a screencap on /b/ showing two or three of his posts, showing pictures of him sleeping with the plushie and eating at a Japanese (If I'm not wrong) restaurant with the plushie. All of these pictures showing him wearing a Twilight Sparkle-related shirt.

What the heck about these ponies inspires such mass lunacy, seriously.

It's look like a pretty good show but why the heck are these guys attaching themselves so SRS BSNS like and making them their waifus. I seriously don't get it

Personally I put it down to a "floating demographic" of assorted manchildren who latch themselves onto anything non threatening (i.e. a more or less friendly fandom), easily understood (ponies = cute, kewl, awesum. little more to it than that), and popular around the internet (which is likely the most vital one, since it allows said manchildren to pretend they are "popular" by proxy). They previously inhabited a variety of niche fandoms such as various anime followings, other kids shows, and other such areas, but when it became apparant that a show which was very much in their purview had become highly and memtically popular with normal people on the internet, they invaded like a horde of wildebeest.

Kinda like the demographic of 13 year old twatwaffles who latch on to COD, and who will undoubtedly latch onto the next big shooter that replaces it, or the fans of twilight who jumped shit to 50 shades. Only with Manchild Bronies it is far more egregious as their disgusting and disturbing antics are focused on a children's show.

I would like to add that I am fully aware that this site is biased and that the posts there are not attempting to be impartial - as a majority, they are anti-bronies. Having said that, I'm not trying to point out whether they are right or wrong - these are just some horror stories I found. Where else should I share it?

I think people take the "love and tolerance" motto to be totally batshit. They figure "Wow, grown men liking cartoon ponies? That's no less crazy than me wanting to fuck a horse".

I'm a fan of the show and even hang out in a brony livestream a bit, but a huge chunk of the fandom seems to be seriously messed up.

Well, there is this one lesbian friend I have named Jessie. Jessie is kind of a unique MLP fan in that she liked it most of her childhood and is more of a MLP collector. She also collects Monster High dolls too and makes custom ones, usually the offspring of the Lovecraftian Horrors. She made me a custom Monster High doll for my birthday based on my Monster High OC, Hester, who was the daughter of Hastur the Unspeakable, the King in Yellow (she had dreams of becoming a vet that specialized in caring for byakhees, which she has lots of back in Carcosa where she lives with her father in the fiery Lake Hali.) I still haven't picked up Hester from her yet, though.

Anyways, I always see Jessie with a bunch of neckbeards discussing theories for MLP, notably at the beginning of season 3 like how King Somnus might be Princess Celestia and Luna's father and Celestia is just ruling in his place or something really spergy like that or how Alicorns are probably likes elves in the fact that the whole physical aging process plateaus after some years.
