At some point these "Christians" need to understand "swearing" (your fucks, shits, asses, cunts, bitches, bastards, etc.) is not a matter of religious doctrine but a matter of etiquette. No where in the Bible outside of "taking the Lord's name in vain" (i.e. blasphemy) is there such harsh restriction on language. Just for instance, "fuck" wasn't considered a profane word in polite company until like the late 1800s. Moreover, you realize how myopic it is to apply this thinking to non-English speaking Christians as there are languages that don't have what native English speakers would consider "swearing" (i.e Japanese doesn't really have cuss words, but they certainly have crude, impolite ways to refer to something depending on the context). It's always come off as short-sighted to get pious about you how speak when your avenue towards salvation involves following a faith rooted in a time when people didn't even speak English.
To tone down or even abstain from cussin' and cursin' as a means of being socially amicable and well-mannered is understandable, as people who are retarded and inarticulate tend to overuse their no-no words to the point where they have little impact. But to abstain from it because you're paranoid your speech can become a hell-worthy trespass just comes off as infantile, especially if you're the kind of tard who's so uptight about swearing you go for the neutered substitutes instead of trying to abstain from the kind of talk that would rile up someone to even exclaim a profanity to begin with. And seeing as how Nick and his faggot brigade aren't exactly well-read, this just comes off as more placating the celebrity honorary African Aryan at best, and censorious at worst (how "American" of them).
tldr If you want to stop saying bad words, read more fucking ass cunt shitting books and aim to make yourself as articulate and eloquent as you can in the process. Besides profanity itself, nothing saps away gravitas from language more than seeing someone at their lowest point and passionately pointing their anger at "the flippin' gosh-darned jews".
