Volcano Princess - Stat raising life sim multiple endings
I love life sims but have been avoiding this one because most of the reviews say the English translation is awful, is it really that bad?

Decent life sims:
Chinese Parents
Ciel Fledge
Cute Knight
Cute Knight Kingdom
Legend of Homebody
My Child Lebensborn: a good raising sim but given the subject matter, not cozy.

Any ladies know some good ones beyond Stardew Valley?
Gleaner Heights: Stardew meets Twin Peaks.
Kynseed
Green Project
I got the last two Harvest Moon games on Steam for under a dollar. They're both horrible broken games with reused assets.

I can see how the translation would be a little annoying but honestly I had absolutely no issues with it. Chinese Parents had way worse translation in my opinion so if you could get through that with no issues then Volcano Princess is totally worth grabbing some time.

Not sure if it counts as a "Cozy Game" but I just remembered that I had Sensei! I Like You So Much! on Steam, it's basically a game where you can cultivate your own fandom, has a pretty good character creator too. So you too can make cute ita bags of your self insert or OC and that one anime guy you like a lot!
Okay I saw that, and the moment I checked it I was intrigued. The workshop stuff is amazing. So much so that I saw this little fellow.

Unfortunately I do not have the funds, and I downloaded it off a "Certain site" to test. I did notice you can import it, but I am not sure how I would be able to do tha without a legimate copy on Steam. Still it's cute, and I can pair some pretty fecking crazy Crack Ships.

I just think a game where you get to basically create your own fandom and cultivate ships that you make canon is just such a cute and fun idea.

I really like it so far. I did have a chat and I might get it soon maybe on Monday. Doesn't cost that much.

Roots of Pacha sucked me in recently - its like Stardew but has more open world non-linear gameplay that works for my non-gamer brain. It's a stone age tribe so all the mystical stuff makes sense to my non-fantastical autist brain.

I just got this on sale after seeing your recommendation and watching a few videos about it on YT. Thanks! Had similiar issues with Stardew Valley, looks super cool but I failed too many times to even try again.

My Life At Portia is definitely a great recommendation and it's available on ALL platforms, which gives Android fags a bit of an advantage. The sequel, My Time At Sandrock is decent as well.

I want to say Planet Zoo because I like watching the animals but I get so pissed off at how shitty it is to build anything in that game that cozy isn't happening.
FFS, this. But if you play it on Steam, you should be able to download other people's builds via the Steam Workshop IIRC.

Heartopia. It’s probably the best f2p phone game out there right now. It’s gacha, and the gacha is ridiculously expensive, but you don’t need to buy anything, unless you have FOMO. None of the gameplay is paywalled. It’s slow, like Animal Crossing.

The discord gives you free codes for stuff every week. The translation is a little iffy, the controls on the pc suck balls. But I still highly recommend it.

My other recommendations, all available on Steam or PC because I don’t have a console other than the Steam Deck. All of the games I mention are Steam Deck verified or playable because I can’t really sit at my desktop anymore. :(

Potion Permit
Fields of Mistra
House Flipper - especially with the dlcs.
Coral Island - better with mods at least last time I played, which was a few months ago
Graveyard Keeper - a little dark, but hilarious. Also much much MUCH better with mods
Powerwash Simulater 1 & 2 - serious dopamine booster
Littlewood
Palia- f2p mmo
American Truck Simulator- only fun with a mod to disable damage and ticket penalties, then you can drive 100 mph down the freeway and crash into cars and generally cause mayhem. For the European’s Euro Truck Simulator is the same thing.
Hytale - early access, Minecraft with lots of extra features
Terriara - you can turn off gore and attacking the friendly animals
Minecraft
Tiny Life - 8bit pixel The Sims

I’ve also heard good things about these, but haven’t played yet:

Lake
My Time at Sandrock
Cult of the Lamb

You better post screenshots of your experience! I wanna see what you come up with!
One of my favorite parts of the Ita-Room. Feck it I might make a whole thread about this game. This is also my friends save file so she's basically losing her mind about this game. I think when I sent her the Piccolo image she begged for us to buy it so now we have this.

OF COURSE YOU GOT PICCOLO FROM THE WORKSHOP- :story:

Have any of you ever played Clanfolk? It’s like a cosy version of RimWorld set in medieval Scotland. It’s really good!

I’ve been focusing on my Animal Crossing island a lot since having my latest baby and needing something low-intensity to do during night feeds. It’s comforting, cozy, relaxing, and I’ve started a pumpkin farm on my island that I can manage while the boob gremlin gets her fill.
