I love how he still doesn't understand how to hide his tells, it's incredibly easy to stop saying foxdicks so much, or stop posting decade-long memes. Many people who are much younger than him post in the chans everyday without giving themselves away like that.

Actually "foxdicks" is a /cow/ wordfilter for "Kiwis". Tells that are obvious Hirtes are posting boomer-tier reaction memes or image macros from like 2002 (as you said) and complaining about Null, @yawning sneasel, and Drumpfy.

One thing that was seriously strange was that when /cow/deleted his posts, some thread OPs vanished as well, if they were indeed of his making, then it might be worth looking into those cows because maybe there's some Hirtes cocks there.

The one thread OP that vanished was on a Nicholos Foxworth/Federov associate named Choji who's some edgy anime discord tranny. That's too hip to have anything to do with Mike, was probably a different ban evader, maybe even Foxworth himself throwing someone under the bus to get heat off him? Who knows.

One thing I want to add is this: Before anyone else, Hirtes was rejected by furries (YIFF YIFF), and furries as a larger community will take nearly anyone. This tells you just how mich people find Hirtes to be a contemptible human being.

I tried to use this board before but it's basically useless for learning anything about the cows. They just kinda assume that you've been following the cow (and that particular threads drama) for years and respond with hostility to ignorance. To actually learn anything about about the cow in the thread you basically have to go here.

They also just seem to hate the cows and want them to die. Reading incoherent rants about how the cows represent degeneracy and dumb one-liner meme spouting is just kinda boring.

The vast majority of 8chan at this point is a small collected circle jerk of the same people responding to each other again and again. The site is slowly fading away via sheer entropy, its just gonna take a while.

But as for the current people there its just turbo skerit klub faggots, and super duper far right (except for /leftypol/ and /cuteboy/ for obvious reasons). Its like those shitty political tech alternatives gab and mastodon. Where it only really markets itself to a certain kinda demographic that will only talk about stuff in the same way. So it becomes a de facto hugbox. All of this leaks into /cow/ as well.

Sides shit moves so slow on /cow/ in terms of board posts. That it honestly isn't worth it if you want any actually relevant information.

The problem with 8chan is that it failed to be as advertised. It was advertised as a Chan where smaller communities could have their own boards and where larger communities could "vote with their feet" in regards to mods.

Smaller communities had their own boards but they died instantly because the site lacked population and because users of messageboards preferred to post in dedicated threads and scroll rather than search through a bureaucratic interface.

Users almost never ousted mods by migrating to new boards because nobody likes posting on dead boards so people ended up in a situation where they had less say over moderation on the larger boards. 4chan will inevitably get rid of a hated mod, even if it takes years. 8Chan's only success was that it granted users more freedom but lolicon, GGshit and the freedom to say nigger can only get you so far.

Oddly enough, Discord has basically replaced alot of the threads on the various boards and even some smaller boards. Despite their policies, Discord gives people freedom because nobody reports shit and people can actually organize and hold mods accountable thanks to private messaging.

I think the appeal of /cow/, at least from my experience having used /cwc/ back in the day (like before 8chan, fuck 8chan), is that it's kind of a rapid stream of shitposting you can get high off of, blending in with the crowd as one entity bent on just hating the guts of one specific idiot. It really is entirely impenetrable if you haven't been following the threads before whatever the current thread for a specific cow was. I remember the Rika threads on /cwc/ and I really would not have known what the fuck was going on if I didn't follow them from the start, and he had like, 13 threads or something because robbie would not stop responding.
It sincerely is a circlejerk. That's just how image boards work in general, you either get in early or you walk into the middle of a conversation that's wholly jargon and stopped being english a while ago. There's little to no history to see where their slang started from. In fact I might even vaguely recall people asking "why are people posting robbie rotten so much" in the Rika threads. There are so many easy ways to mitigate this issue, but no image board ever attempts it. The simplest, manual way would be to link to some resource people can read from in an OP, but that's certainly not something implemented in the software level. It doesn't have to be a full-fledged PHPBB or XenForo forum, but, shit, just add something, anything. Otherwise you may as well just be DM'ing a bunch of friends in discord. We don't have anything even remotely like those issues, we have threads, we have opening posts, we have a wiki, we can keep track of things for newcomers to consume. We don't yell at people for not having encyclopedic knowledge of any given cow, but we sure have much more of a right to do so than a place where information is permanently lost a week after it's posted.
Image boards are just not cut out for this medium. A cow keeps existing long after a thread dies. Image boards are for asking for advice or talking about this week's episode of something, little short-term things like that. /cow/ is trying to put a square block into a round hole.

8chan more recently seems to have added its own archive of threads that don't appear on the boards any more. Not sure when that started but it should be useful to prevent that problem.
