it would be great if there was a browser addon that removes music from playing media so that you can enjoy whatever you're watching while listening to whatever you want without overlap

turn on some music that you like to listen to, then start watching a video that has both speech and background music in it
now you have two tunes playing at the same time, who would enjoy that? I will include an example if needed

So you want some software that would, in realtime, remove the background music of a video, allowing you to listen to a person in the video speaking, while also listening to your own separate source of music? Am I following that correctly?

yeah like an instance of UVR that would only keep the vocals and exclude everything else, by default

it would likely need to have something like yt-dlp or a HLS stream downloader built into it to start with
