Wanted to share the videos, but unfortunately the computer I was convined to due to technical difficulties didn't feel like doing the Steam login. Should I do a rant video on how stupid that computer is? Oh well, back on topic: Ofcourse he would rant about the gadget. Something so insignificant, yet to him Microsoft did it to annoy him.
And that circuit for the camera looks hideous, and obviously meant to fail at some point. But fuck safety precautions, let's just continue doing so until something goes zap, in this case the camera.

Use a piece of perfboard, decent wiring, an enclosure, etc. Or if you're lazy and don't care at all about serviceability, cover everything with hot glue. This is what he built. The output voltage Vout is adjusted to maintain a constant 1.25V on the ADJ pin. If a solder joint or component lead breaks due to shitty, unprotected point to point wiring and R1 is removed from the circuit, the voltage at ADJ drops to zero and Vout goes to maximum (slightly less than Vin), thus frying the camcorder.

But that would be too much effort. Really, he might have the technical insight of his father, but his (and maybe his mother's?) stubborn laziness makes his projects overly shoddy and sometimes even dangerous. Not now, since we're talking about wallwart voltages, but since he likes to work with high voltages, that could end up frying himself to a crisp.

That's actually his table, he has carpet on it for some reason (probably because grubby carpet is more flammable.

Yep, me too. Funny, coming from someone who initially send messages like "SUCK COCKS LOL" and "EAT PHLHATES AND DIE" to Clem. He and his core viewing audience still hate Sammy over that.
 
He defended Clem earlier in the thread by saying that it was cool that he never wants to grow up, lives with his parents, and plays with outdated electronics instead of finding a job. All Clem needs to do is pack on some pounds, shave his head, acquire some pedo glasses and dayglo clothing and they could be twins.

Mylar doesn't have those misformed moobs though. Also suprisingly no A-Log rating, seems Mylar quit for a while now.
