Once again these people are the epitome of bowing to the crowd. I can't imagine having so little problems with life that complaining about a cookie not being the color of dark chocolate means breaking every civil rights rule.
If they hate white people so much that the mere mention of them makes their skin crawl, then they're free to travel to India, the Middle East, Africa; anywhere where brown dominates! I played Kingdom once and it sucked. I don't really like RPG games (The closest would be Corpse Party, and even then that fandom is dead as shit.) I do like the cutscenes and story. Could care less for the gender bullshit.

Yes, that is all true; however, it is clear that the translators are doing this most of the time by their own will, and it is not what the devs intended. The best example is Cream Unicorn, which you can read more about in this thread's OP

This game is a portrait of Niggerhell.
All the Sino-Koreo-Insectoid horrors of gacha game culture, but instead of hot babes everyone is a genderless blob. Every character is obnoxious and one-note, and all the writing is boring at best and hopelessly confusing at worst. All of the voice acting sounds like the worst anime dubs imaginable.
It’s the favorite game of all your least favorite people. Your zoomer coworker who refuses to get a driver’s license because of /r/fuckcars. That autistic guy who lives off welfare and disability checks and is five digits deep in credit card debt in part due to this game. That chinaman who they’re planning to outsource your job to, who’s one bad pull away from jumping into a suicide net.
Every single bad trend in the games industry has converged to this one game. Predatory monetization, Gay Nigger Communist Pronoun character design, cheap tweening slop animation, the Third World gaining mass internet access, everything. And somehow, it has enough of a following to not go bankrupt instantly, and for its fans to create a huge ever-growing autism footprint on the internet.

True, though, to be honest, Cookie Run Kingdom is the one that carries tne entire franchise nowadays. Even by the reports of gacha revenue, the game got the highest Mark to Market percentage of any gacha game.
And the franchise is now pumping more stuff, so it is definitely not a failure, just that it got that community ever since the times of Line Cookie Run, which were old times per se (when Tumblrites were contained)
But, being realistic, I can't see how the game could get that desired "target audience" as those bastards from Gacha Grail say, CRToA and Ovensmash may get close, but not by much, and at the end of the day, that's just more gacha game cultural warslop, over and over again, so it is not worthy to mention here

Cookie Run Ovensmash set to release next month, after being in development hell for a very long time. Project CC to release this year (it doesn't really say what it is tho). And finally, Project N to release in 2029 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the franchise, which will be an action RPG open world.
The article also talks about doing more irl events, like exhibitions, TCGs, e-sports, etc etc. The company expects a massive growth in revenue this year. More details about the future of the Cookie Run IP will be present in Devnow, which will take place in March.

Right, I might as well note something: the story increasingly feels like a fanfic of itself. I think this is the hardest Devsisters have attempted to cater to their fanbase.
Part 1: Shadow Milk's Update.
Alright, compared to parts two and three, this is not so bad at all. You see in his update, rather than having Pure Vanilla beat the crap out of him just like the previous two beasts (Mystic Flour and Burning Spice), Pure Vanilla instead seeks to understand him and befriend him.
The reason I say this isn't as bad is simple: PV essentially functions as "cookie Jesus," in a sense. Of course, he would forgive his enemies and seek to redeem them.
The execution, however is blantant yaoibait
An interesting note I've heard is that the Korean version allegedly leans more into the yaoibait aspect than the English version, but who am I to know? I do not speak or write Korean at all.
Part 2: Eternal Sugar's Update
Compared to SM's, I would say this is far more blatant, in part 1 of the story, she lures Hollyberry and her friends into the place and traps many of them in jam, but in part 2, she does a complete 180 and starts mentioning how lonely she is and how she totally loves HB... after her awakening, rather than tell ES to fuck off, HB says this instead.
Oh, and there is also this blantant yuribait illustration below
Part 3: Doubling Down.
The actual reason I wrote this is simple: after their newfound success, Devsisters learned that blatant catering is the way to go, paired costumes in every single update...
Bonus stuff made by their English staff.
Oh, and all these announcements from an interview with a famous YouTuber inside the community.
The reason I am mentioning all this? It's simple, this is the single most blantant case of pandering to the base I've seen in this franchise, and I think the plot is increasingly feeling like a fanfic of itself, it's a shame, I didn't start the game just to see characters become increasing parodies of themselves...
