Minutes after he was found guilty of capital murder in the 2016 shooting death of a San Antonio detective, Otis McKane lunged at the bailiff.

McKane sat stone-faced through most of 10 days of testimony from 50 witnesses who described the situation around his ambush attack of San Antonio Police Detective Benjamin Marconi outside police headquarters in November 2016, according to KENS5.

After his arrest, McKane confessed to the shooting, saying he was angry with the police for not helping with his custody battle.
