Well this is a new one to me. I don't recall it being in here although with the mention of them being around since 2018 they might've been covered and I've forgotten. Of course we get the mention that it's mainly adults with them and not the kids that you would expect to be purchasing them at a Disney park.

Dubai chocolate
I've spent the $18 for a bar and it was underwhelming. Its got knafeh in it which gives it some texture and the pistachio filling is creamy but the delicate flavors are easily overwhelmed by the chocolate. The experience was more like Ferrero Rocher minus the hazelnut taste. I enjoyed it but, I would not buy it again.

having an extensive knowladge in one, usually way more elegant field, seeking out or finding things you never expected to find and valuing every addition, there's a reason why collecting used to be considered an intellectual hobby
TV Shopping Networks have been around forever my guy.

$18 for a bar of mediocre chocolate is insane. Where I come from you can buy small Dubai chocolate bars so I bought one just to taste it (it was like $5 so still expensive) and I think it's ok-ish. I wouldn't buy it again. It's not worth the hype.

Yeah, that was how it started out for me too. Small bars right next to those cash register sections where there are tons of small snacks and cigarettes. Now there are full bars and the price tag on them is way higher.

Standing in line for hours with these sort of people in front of me would make question every single choice that got me there.

The creature on the shoulder combined with the ears on the hat is giving me secondhand embarrassment, but the word search seems like a fun way to pass the time while waiting in line for an attraction.
Until it catches you actually writing on its shirt with a permanent marker.

Why is it always ugly women that get into this shit?
idk what you're talking about, it's mostly conventionally attractive women who are permitted to do this
you may not find them attractive personally, but this is what's considered attractive

i think people who have nothing going for them besides being pretty are insecure knowing that fact and are determined to forever chase superficial beauty, while people who are more average or have other skills or virtues realize it's just one factor that isn't worth obsessing over
it's why people who were always attractive are more likely to get plastic surgeries than regular people too, the average joe finds another line on his face with age and goes "yup, that's life", but the person whos whole life revolves around perfection has their world shattered and cannot handle it

It's similar to the phenomenon fat chicks talk about where they feel obligated to be "more fashionable" to be "accepted" but thin women can get away with simpler clothing. Here, though, it's looks. A woman who is more attractive can "get away with" less makeup and less fashionable clothing.

Bonus video because here she's objectively wrong:

Some dresses aren't for anyone except skinny women, and many luxury brands don't fit women who are overweight or even just a different body size. We see this a lot in the HAES thread, but a woman with large breasts who is otherwise skinny is also not going to fit into clothing from most luxury brands. Same for muscular women. The "ideal type" for many luxury brands is, and always has been "thin and elegant" because that also makes the clothing itself look better, and those brands want their customers to be walking billboards.

Compare:

The body is an accessory, but that doesn't mean if you aren't shaped like a model you can't look good, you just need to learn how to dress for your body type, and I'll admit that can be difficult sometimes.

Bonus because this is cute:

conventionally attractive
What does that even mean? What conventions? According to whom? At what time?

A Playboy covergirl doesn't look like a runway supermodel, and neither of them look like an Olympian. Yet all could easily be argued for the pinnacle of beauty. So what, precisely, do you mean by "conventionally attractive"? Because I'll tell you what these girls probably ain't it being dog faced and frumpy.

Generally speaking:
  1. Symmetrical face but not uncannily so
  2. Not significantly underweight or overweight
  3. No visible signs of illness
You're both right in your own ways.
@Sleazy Car Salesman is right in that this woman isn't the "ideal" customer for these brands, but she can fit them and afford them, so that's what she does.

@Cuntspiracy Man is also right about the general behavior of these customers and their consumers.
