On the topic of CinemaSickness, it seems that old Davey boy can’t handle even the slightest bit of criticism, so much so that he’s starting beef with other consoomer spergs in his community. Guy goes by the name of CineDump, aka Joe Danger. Besides hoarding a bunch of horror shit, he also does interviews with actors, convention videos and even does some acting himself. Also, how there’s not a standalone thread on CinemaSickness yet, I haven’t a clue.

Outside of just Disney adults. AirrickDebunks is a good example. He like a breadtube that exclusively defend corporations from criticism.
What's missing is Helldivers. I've seen people dismiss the PSN thing as a nothing burger because fuck paying customers right?

>spending
where's the spending part? unless i'm wrong, it seems to me like the person posting this image is just pointing out that it's being asked for 800 dollars, and even questioning why

just because someone's asking for a price doesn't mean anyone is gonna pay the price, and it certainly doesn't mean it's worth the price

It's good to point out when shitty consumer items get sold for way more than it's really worth.

Spending 800 dollars on a lego minifigure.
Back before the marketplace on BrickLink reached 1.5 million individual parts and attempting to sort by price crashed the site there was a guy on Twitter (I think) who would occasionally post screenshots of the dumbest shit that cost usually hundreds of dollars. A lot of them were minifigures like this $800 Star Wars soy crap but every once in a while there'd be this relatively normal looking block that only once came in a very specific color in only one Lego set and because of that collectors were willing to pay $500 for it. A lot of the things that were posted were also the license plates (if that's what they are called) from the various Lego train sets, because we all know train spergs are out there.

Meanwhile I found a perfectly functional 2U rackmount server with dual 12-core/24-thread CPUs, 96GB of RAM, dual power supplies and rails for $20 at a pawn shop a few months back because the guy thought it didn't work and he didn't really know what it was. Not a typo -- twenty bucks and there's nothing wrong with it. Every component is functional and in good condition.

That hunk of useless plastic ... eight hundred bucks.

This crazy-ass world, man :story:

I listened to the Stellar Blade video, and his "debunk" of the claims the game was censored is ...nothing. He never addresses the censorship. He complains that they didn't hire enough consultation because otherwise Hard R Shop and Crime R Shop wouldn't have made it into the game.

I don't know if this is the right place, but last night there was a microsoft showcase where they showed off a new Perfect Dark game that isn't Perfect Dark, and the new Fable game that was beaten with the DEI ugly stick. Expecting to see people roast these games for being dogshit, what I found was a bunch of corporate shills.

Nigga on the thumbnail looks like a living anti-Jewish Nazi Germany propaganda. Someone needs a nose job.

Some guy was featured on the news, for having a collection of 139k Stone Rain cards, from Magic: The Gathering:

Just chiming in to say this isnt speculation in the hope the price will go up, Stone Rain is a card that will never be competitively viable, as better options exist. Most printings are less than 20c and there are millions of them in circulation. He just really likes the card.

You can't get a lego goat unless you really are the G.O.A.T.
One fucking set and they no longer have the molds (:_(

You know, with the rise of 3D printing, I'm surprised at the lack of people printing their own legos, just the plastic required for it must cost way less than the average lego kit
I know lego has a patent on the block and ya can't exactly go around advertising lego piracy, but you'd think there would be SOME community for it

3d printers are pretty expensive and there are other brands in the market offering the exact same thing as legos but much cheaper.

Lego patents expired long ago so anyone can sell them. They survive on brand name alone.

I assure you anyone who owns a 3D printer already does it for other purposes, and the kinda people who collect enough legos for it to start making an impact in terms of cumulative price are the types of individuals who probably already own 3D printers for other purposes anyway

...
then again the type of people who collect lego to such a degree are probably way too brand loyal to do something like that, now that i think about it

I'd be like printing your own magic cards to play with, is gonna cause a meltdown even though the card you printed is functionally the same as one you bought on ebay. You could argue that your deck building strategy is all that matters but is not gonna stick.

For normal people buying legos for their kids they have been loosing a lot of the market though, that company had a period when they were doing really badly, its why they have to spend so much on marketing and licensing deals and the end depend more and more on retarded manchildren. Toddlers just like their plastic bricks, they will grow up and not even remember if their Legos were actually from Lego.
