I have good luck with church missions. Anything with "thrift" or "re-sale" in the title is going to be shit. Avoid the chain stores.

One of my local missions is 100% free, another charges $2 per filled bag (or by donation, most people just pay the 2), another has obscenely low prices on everything from high quality furniture to electronics and craft supplies. I could go on. There's one that's a bit more expensive, but even they have super sales at least twice a month that cuts the prices down to nothing. I regularly see things in all these missions selling for $1 that I know 100% sell for $40+ on ebay.

Something even worse, though not quite 'consoomer', just more malicious in general, is cheap Japanese land getting eaten up by retards from the west, which can probably at least partially be blamed on big names like Pewdiepie moving over there, though not entirely. The Japanese countryside was mostly fled from by people leaving for the cities, thus those areas are nearly abandoned and very cheap now. Not for long, and I'll bet this leads to a decimation of their remaining nature if their govt does nothing, which I fear it will seeing their population catastrophe.

The really crazy thing is that the stores themselves are sometimes the worst flippers, maintaining lists of things that are to be kept off the sales floor so that they can be posted online. Goodwill even maintains its own auction site and will have managers and employees comb through all of a day's donations and compare anything that looks like it might be more than junk to similar items on ebay. The people with barcode scanners buying dozens of books are just the modern version of medieval gleaners.
