I have never worn a wig as anything other than a costume, and the whole wig/weave/extensions thing has always feel far from my experience because I agree with your about it seeming weird and gross.
That said, the little I do know about it does fit this thread.

In no particular order, here's the globalist nightmare of a Chinese man appraising Russian hair for Jewish women who "need" it because Indian hair isn't Kosher.

Here's Refinery29 video about the human hair supply chain:

Here's some more stuff about Jewish women and their wigs

While I was looking for these, I also found this article that credits the Kardashians for popularizing hairpieces:

Which makes sense, so here's some info on that as well:

Of course the shapeshifter race loves their wigs.

Obvious Vice attempts to sow division aside, I've been seeing a lot of this sentiment recently. Specifically, consumption as some kind of reparations or act of protest.
It reminds me of the Schoolhouse Rock bit from Drawn Together.

Frank Herbert had a quote about this:

“I have ELEVEN different Xboxes!”

No you absolute sped. You have 2 or 3, just with a bunch of different faceplates.

This isn’t just top dollar consoomerism, it’s also top dollar idiocy and autism. Pretending that a faceplate that anyone can 3D print (and which came in millions of copies regardless) makes your plain Xbox “collectible”.

Also: Fucking lol at that: “copy games on to the hard drive so you don’t wear the disc down”. Sure buddy! Has nothing to do with piracy, right? Oh wait, that’s right! It might get demonetized if he was honest.

EDIT: THIS IS PEAK FUCKING CONSOOOOMING.

The guy has ELEVEN old Xboxes… Wants MS to make an “Xbox mini” so he can play his old Xbox games on TWELVE machines.

Dear lord!
I only remember MetalJesusRocks once and that was almost a decade ago when I was searching through gaming channels and came across his 'GAMER Eats' video series...

Dear lord.

Mr. Scalfani and MJR should team up someday to make some foodkino.

Do you think she actually read Dune before or after the newer movie came out? I think she may have but that just brings up the question of why is it always the fattest neck/legbeardiest nerds who adore Dune?

Oh Jesus Christ she has all the other Dune series books that aren't Dune, every single one of those are fucking shit, Herbert didn't write any of them.

While I can’t say if this is true or not, one can’t deny that Dune has stood the test of time before the Denis Villeneuve movie version came out (I personally thought the David Lynch version was more ambitious, even if the movie bombed).

If anything, the consumerism behind the book version is funny in my mind because in the first book, Herbert famously derided what technology has done to make people in the video in question look at his series as something that should be trendy and gimmicky:

To put it short, Frank Herbert’s work is not the same as Harry Potter or The Handmaid’s Tale if one is the type to insert current day trends into a book that goes against the materialism and consumerism of showing off the book series as a collection with 30+ books.

Yeah I realize that I've read Dune myself and I used to have a friend where that was his favorite book, reading Dune literally changed his life, so I'm familiar with the work and I've had my fair share of conversations about the work and Herbert. Here's the thing though; I just don't get it. The book is that special brand of 1960's sci-fi that tries to ask questions and spark curiosity and it just isn't good at either since everything and everyone in the setting is unbelievably dull and uninteresting, it's a flat, boring, overly dense nerd bible but unlike say Lord of The Rings it doesn't interest me with a good story, it's just endless scenes of people sitting around and talking about dumb shit and being absolutely astounded that making a big gun that fires explosives at your enemies is a really good idea.

"I still buy two-liter bottles of soda, I just chug them in one sitting to get through them as fast as possible"
I don't drink soda ever because I am cultured.
A better comparaison would be food: I don't need to be slow when slurping noodles: it's noodles, not some subtle gourmet dish.

It's weird of worked up about this you guys can get.

Let's move on front his non-issue.

I can't archive, but This moron is having a breakdown on the World Wide Web because her wig arrived at her neighbor's house. She is threatening to break their door to get it back because she needs it for her birthday party.
I hope she tries and face consequences. Entitled people are so annoying. Juts wear your regular wig, or better yet your natural hair. Or be bald, no one cares.
Thought this was relevant to the thread because she clearly doesn't handle frustration well

To be fair at least a few of those older Xboxes are limited run ones. I think the green ones are halo and Mt dew exclusive ones or something. There is also a difference in the chipsets of the 360s, but that only matters if you're modding them, which this guy clearly isn't. Which somehow makes it even sadder he's bragging this up.

Literally the only time it is acceptable to watch content at 2x speed are recordings of lectures, or anything of the sort where you are watching for utility rather than enjoyment.

Wasn't there also some drama about a GoFundMe for a flooded basement? I can't remember if that ended up being a scam too.
No you're right. I'm not too familiar with the guy but he had uploaded two videos about his basement being flooded, mold and what not. The

Coincidentally James Rolf, the Nerd himself, game room also suffered water damage in the past. I can't remember if he made a video about it but he did post images of the damage on social media.

Speaking of Metal Jesus, in 2015 he tried to have people fund him so he could go on a "tour" around the country so he could buy up all of the games at local stores.

I don't like that guy. I think he has some gaming industry chops, like, didn't he work at Id software at one point or something? But other than that, he's just... not very likeable. His videos seem to be more of him showing off and less about actually appreciating his games. He's done a few "Five games that don't suck on Atari 2600!"-style videos, buuuuut it's anyone's guess as to whether or not that came from the heart. He just seems like a bona fide hoarder to me. And he's woke. Many such cases.

He’s fake woke anyway. He had this weird meet up at a beach house he rented. Several of the girls later reported having their privacy deleted. It was a small fiasco back then. You can still find the beach house video and it’s creepy vibe. Bunch of skinny fat 40 year olds liquoring up young women.

E-books are great when you "acquire" them via Library Genesis and read them on a non-shitty, non-Amazon e-reader with an actually decent-sized screen (Boox makes some great e-ink readers for example; even a couple color e-ink ones).
I'm horribly late to this convo, but I can highly recommend the fancier Kobos for this purpose as well.

I never knew MetalJesusRocks was able to even have 11 XBOX console systems.
I hate how much I know about this topic but he doesn't have any XDK consoles, doesn't mention the revision of any of the 360s, just "wow they look different!" It really shows how surface-level his interest is.
