Just based on the consoles and the ps4 games alone there's probably around 40 grand on those shelves assuming he bought the games brand new which he probably did. Some guy in a thread fondling the balls of Sony just posted this travesty. Of his "collection of PS4 consoles"
Sad really how they've made collecting old consoles so toxic and expensive. I like playing on my OG Xbox, but if I hadn't bought it from a thrift store, I'd be paying well over 100. I'm just glad it's driven the development of emulation.Nope.
At this point, almost any commercial game that was on retail is playable on emulators. Even if you want to use the original console, you can just burn the game on a cd and play it that way.
Retro game collecting has become this cesspool of fat neckbeards and weirdos hoarding this shit.

Of course he was, that's just a given.>Star wars: battlefront ii (the shit one) edition console
I would bet 5 kiwi silver coins that this guy was all aboard the "fuck ea and fuck battlefront ii for the lootboxes" train but just HAD to have muh speshel edition PS4.
Special edition Nintendo portable systems always tend to go for way more than a basic model does on the secondary market. If you are a scalper/flipper, you can make decent money off those models of the portables since they are made in limited quantities compared to the more vanilla versions of the systems.View attachment 4045545
Never in my life did I ever thought that my 3ds would be "worth" almost double the price I bought it for.
Ok, "emulation, pc, bla bla bla", leaving that aside; this wouldn't be nowhere near as bad if consoomers didn't spend that much on old stuff.
Funny that neckbeards have driven up the price of it after a functional Xbox emulator came into existence.Sad really how they've made collecting old consoles so toxic and expensive. So called “adults” making TikTok videos about Disney theme parks look more like long advertisements to me. The worst part is that they have the intellectual matter of cattle. If anyone starts a Disney adults thread, I'll provide tiktoks

I collect consoles and older games and shit like this baffles me. I ran into one of these cretins in the wild at a local game store chain. He was exactly like the Sony guy except with Xbox shit. I think I was buying Mech-Assualt for OG Xbox and this guy mentions that he has 4 copies. I say something like "that's neat" while thinking that's why this is $10 instead of $5.Some guy in a thread fondling the balls of Sony just posted this travesty. Of his "collection of PS4 consoles"
God I would have loved to see this. He was buying chicken fucking little the game. I love how these spergs think the poorly paid clerks give a shit about their collections.I collect consoles and older games and shit like this baffles me. It doesn't end there. This man was on a quest and he needed to let me and the clerk know about it. He was obtaining every Xbox game and accessory. He was buying the Chicken Little movie game and like 6 other games. I don't remember what the others were but Chicken Little sticks out because I thought there is no way he's going to play it. Dipshits like this are the reason vintage game and old electronics prices are inflated. I own a CRT TV not because I saw one on Stanger Things but because I like to play Time Crisis.
Look Mech Assault is good, a highlight of the OG Xbox era that needs to be ported. He has 5 copies. Bruh. 4 other people could have played that. And should. Then buying random shit like chicken little? Your apartment ( no way he saves enough for a storage unit) must be fucking full.I collect consoles and older games and shit like this baffles me. I'll go off topic but I had my doubts about a console Mechwarrior game. I had PS2 when I was a wee tot so Xbox is kind of new to me beyond playing at a friend's house. Mech-Assualt fucking rocked. I even got Mechwarrior 2 for PSX. They were all really good ports and I did not expect that. I'm kind of a consoomer when it comes to Battletech shit but in my defense 60 ton death robots are awesome.Look Mech Assault is good, a highlight of the OG Xbox era that needs to be ported. I used to see it pretty often on Walmart shelves pre-coof. I don't think it returned afterwards though.Where the fuck do you even get Soylent, I've never seen it on a shelf. Do these people search it out online and order it?
Mechassault is one of my favorite games and got me into mechs, but don't let a battletech sperg hear you say that.I'll go off topic but I had my doubts about a console Mechwarrior game. There's nothing wrong with Mechassault, it's just a really bad adaptation of the source material. Taken on it's own it's a bitchin' game, and this is coming from a BT sperg.Mechassault is one of my favorite games and got me into mechs, but don't let a battletech sperg hear you say that.
It's unreal to me they weren't absolutely massacred for that behavior. Imagine telling an overwhelming portion of your current (and potential future) customers that they literally don't matter unless they "say the line" and laughing off billions of dollars of combined direct property damage, lost business and the knock-on effects of both like it's no big deal.
You are a few years out of date, Saturn emulation is good now.Isn't Panzer Dragoon Saga still difficult to play on an emulator because Saturn emulation sucks, or am I a few years out of date on that?
