Consoomers / Consoomer Culture - Because if it has a recogniseable brand on it, I’d buy it!

Funko Pops that will have no real value in 10 years time
Funko Pops have no real value now. All these people talk about how much money their pops are worth but I've never once actually seen them posting about selling the little shits and the receipts.

Yeah, good point, we've seen many funko hoarders talking about how much money their collections are worth, but i can't imagine any of them selling their shit willingly even if they could actually make a profit.

Precisely, it's a pure speculation market and until I start to see the reported prices from Funkos sold at auction I'm going to call any number they quote me bullshit like I do with any speculative market.

Troydan’s back at it again:

Apparently, he found out that Popeye’s recently opened in Canada, and he decided to almost order half of the entire menu.

Plus, as expected:

He mastered the soy face, even with Popeye’s worker cosplay.
Honestly, I should put this as my new avatar next. I just randomly paused it at the 0:15 mark, and this was the first thing that I screen shot.

Overall, the video speaks for itself.
Popeyes open in Canada and that's how I know its fucking disgusting

So is Gunpla consoomer or not because your building and painting stuff?
Are you buying them for the legitimate enjoyment of building and displaying them or are you buying them for status/just because you NEED more Gunpla in your life?

One of those won't get you laughed at in this thread, the other will.

Consoom iPhone

"Not all Androids are the same"
I'm running off like 10 hours of sleep in the past week, so forgive me if I'm retarding out, but what in the ever loving shit did this 9/11 nigger mean by that?

>I don't care what others think
>I had an Android because it was different
BITCH

"The expectation when people get a new phone is that is an iPhone"
This broad needs new friends

"The impact of apple in the tech world cannot be understated"
*1 min later*
"The reason file sharing between android and apple doesn't work well is because apple refuses to let competitors use the same tech"
@NoReturn I'm pretty sure I'm having a stroke and it's because you posted this. Holy fuck that was rough to watch.

We've been trying to avoid these kinds of discussions because they always derail the thread. We have a "what makes a consoomer" thread in Deep Thoughts or Mass Debates but I'm too lazy to look for it.

I will say this though, the one nice thing about having hot pink or weird purple tools laying around is that no one else in the shop steals them. And if anyone does steal them it isn't hard to tell who has your tools. Not that these are suitable for anything other than hanging pictures and putting together flat pack furniture mind you.
I think the fact that they’re shit brands is primarily what prevents them from being stolen.

In a machine shop, you generally are expected to have your own tools (you can usually order some for payroll deductions through the company) and they have to be calibrated by third party companies annually. If you show up with some Chinese shit.. idk. You’re probably not going to be employed in that shop for a long time. Your shit better be Starett, Brown and Sharpe, Mitutoyo, etc

Have any of you guys posted about Consoomers Posting Their L's Twitter account?
It's a gimmick account so it's automatically bad.

Those anti-consumer types are rotten cancer and no better than the people they try to criticize. We are talking about bitter rad-trad idiots who don't believe in art, hobbies, or even entertainment. They believe all spending should be used exclusively for utilitarian stuff and the objective of every man in the world is to raise a family, which is ironic since they believe every woman in the world is a whore.

Look at the example above, they are ridiculing a dude for reviewing a game controller. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, the guy is not even doing the soyboy cuck face. They are mocking the man just because he's fat and ugly. Fucking terrible, but that's Twitter for you.

When the consumer subreddit got banned and went to .win this mentality went into overdrive.

If you weren't a monk living in a small lean shed using a candle you made from the fat you rendered yourself to read the Bible then clearly you were just a soyboy consumer and might as well buy some funkopops.

Typical reddit mentality of taking an ideal and turning it into a identity/personality which you then compete with like minded faggots into who is the most anti-consumer.

You can take a nice tool and put hot pink plastidip on it and you will have a highly theft resistant tool.
