There is nothing conservative about conservatism. When so-called conservatives aren't bankrupting the government with tax breaks for rich people (Bush), or handing out lump sum payments to everyone like its UBI (Trump), or making changes to our democratic norms to benefit their own party (McConnell, specifically his obstruction to nominate Supreme Court justices when Obama still had 1.5 years left on his second term and claiming this was a "norm"), misleading their base with lies (Trump), being weird Christian fundies (Ted Cruz), being weird non-Christian fundies (Romney) or deliberately fucking around with other states' interstate traffic (Chris Christie), or instituting protectionist tariffs to fuck around with the free market (Trump again), they are basically trying to court the bigotry vote at the state and federal level.
What's the current GOP platform these days? Restrict abortions and birth control. Blue Lives Matter. Don't raise the debt ceiling, but only if the Democrats want to raise it (if a Republican needs it raised, no problem). End all immigration in the nation of immigrants (basically an "I'm already aboard, pull up all the lifelines" policy. If you're 3rd-gen Italian, German, or Irish I'm talking to you.) Force women to accept substandard employment so that they depend upon a man (either husband or father) for economic prosperity. Jerrymander the fuck out of every voting district you can and change every election law that you think would favor Democrat voter turnout. Make elections as restrictive and unfair as possible in the name of fairness; cry foul when you lose anyway. Fall in line behind a corrupt President whom they all hated in the 2016 primary. Pretend that president didn't try to get them killed by an angry mob on Jan 6th.
Social conservatism is defined (per Wikipedia) as: "a political ideology focused on the preservation of traditional values and beliefs. It focuses on a concern with moral and social values which proponents of the ideology see as degraded in modern society by liberalism."
What about any of this represents a "preservation of traditional beliefs or values"? How do you guys expect to put so many antifeminist items on your agenda and secure the women's vote? How do you expect to earn any minority vote when the Hispanics are characterized by conservatives as lawbreaking wetbacks, the blacks as uncivilized and infantile, and Asians as plague-bearing commies?

Fiscal conservatism is defined (again, per Wikipedia) as "is a political and economic philosophy regarding fiscal policy and fiscal responsibility with an ideological basis in capitalism, individualism, limited government, and laissez-faire economics." How is starting a trade war with China laissez-faire economics? What about round after round of tax breaks or sending every American $1600 during the pandemic? How is that fiscally conservative?
Moreover, some of the pet projects and hobbyhorse policies from so-called "conservatives" on this forum read more like klansman jackoff fantasies or anti-intellectual conspiracy theories. For example: what is "conservative" about wanting to disenfranchise women and black people from the vote? (keep in mind the 13th Amendment was your party's idea in the first place.) What part of making women into hausfraus with substandard employment, enfranchisement, and control over their lives is "stimulating economic growth for all Americans [and] protecting constitutionally-guaranteed freedoms"? When you idiots wax poetic about how much you hate n-words, are you aware you're in the party that voted to emancipate them?
And Eurofags: what is your damage about Turks and Muslims living in your nations? Get the fuck over it. They're here, they rebuilt your country after it was leveled and depopulated in WWII, and they've as much right as any of you to live there.
