@Silver, you may have dodged a bullet. (And no, that's not a "silver bullet" joke.) You're still studying music therapy, right? What if Connor did go to the Halloweened-out amusement park with you and start trying to use you to armchair-dx him... or worse, his characters? Because we all know that an any-type-of-therapy student is totes equivalent to a professional with many years of practice under their belt. (I know a lot of social work majors who actually get this -- people use them for free advice about themselves, their allegedly-horrible-but-quite-normal families...)

You know if you moved past thinking of your characters as failed 80s actors and your book as a cheesy 80s movie you might find it easier to write.
 
I wasn't able to get the synopsis done last night, because I had to get some sleep. I prefer to go to bed at a decent hour, because I have class on Mondays and Wednesdays, early in the morning. We didn't go yesterday because it was Labor Day. I'm over at my grandmother's house right now, and I don't know what she has planned for today, but I could dedicate some time to the synopsis.

I have to thank @Sanae Kochiya for bringing up a good point: I'm not sure if the synopsis would fully explain the characters' motivations, backstory, etc.

@Dudeofteenage : I've thought about having the characters appearances updated to resemble more recent, well-known actors as opposed to eighties regulars and washouts. The story still has an eighties feel to it. Think Drive or Hotline Miami.
 
But if your classes are on Mondays & Wednesdays you could've stayed up last night 'cause it's Tuesday.

Maybe you could do two synopsis? One for the plot outlines, and a second one offering more detailed character motivations for the main players. That way you're not boxed in to one huge text dump.
