Seriously, Connor?
I don't think there's ever going to be an apt time to say this, but I've been waiting for a little while now. I love that your avatar happens to be Gendo and you happen to post in a thread berating someone who identifies with Shinji.

God dammit, Connor. That story could've been really interesting. Good on you, @Meowthkip for trying to make it interesting.

BTW
This was done on a first reading and also I'm just super, super drink right now. Please forgive my mistakes. I warned you.

Do you have a direct link? Vocaroo is being dumb & not loading the diddly-doodle button.

EDIT: @BOLDYSPICY! beat me to it.

@Meowthkip, you did an amazing job. Good pacing and all. Connor's parts just really seem to rubberband the whole story. You put in just enough detail to set scenes but keep the plot moving, he takes a paragraph to let the character think.
@Connor, I'm proud of you for trying finally, but you just gave up on it. I think you could have gotten somewhere if you'd kept at it. I'm not angry, I don't think any of us are. Just a little disappointed.

Sorry about that.

Here it is

I did warn you about that vodka though
"Connor never replied. So I guess he. . .died, or something. . .sprained ankle. . ."
I can't breathe

also your voice is adorable

EDIT:
I have to get up for work tomorrow, but I'll draw this as soon as I can.

Fucking hell, Connor.

What struck me is that, the moment Meowth sets the situation up so that Connor is not, in fact, in danger, he has him storm out and confront the dudebros. I don't think that was done because he thought it was interesting, it was done because he wanted to look cool.

When @Meowthkip said he tried to make himself super important and the target of some conspiracy I gave him the benefit of the doubt.
"It's fiction," I thought. "It can be whatever he wants."
Goddamn his writing sucks. I would've rather seen where Meothkip was going with the horror story hook.

I'd love to hear more from Meowthkip about where she was planning to go with the story.

Well, if I'd gotten that far, I would have done like a supernatural monster type thing in the woods: the one warning him about the beast would be the ghost of a previous victim. I imagined this creature as picking off the guys harassing Connor, and maybe chasing him into his house. Connor would have no idea what it looked like, since it would move fast enough that he wouldn't be able to see it when it, say, chomped down on Trace from up in a tree and pulled him up. The creature itself would be kind of this black dog/reptile thing made out of sludge that could alter its form enough to say, squeeze under doors by becoming liquid and then reforming. The only parts that wouldn't look to be made out of sludge would be the eyes and teeth. I had this mental image of this creature turning into liquid and sliding under the door, its eyes being squished as they slid under, and then swiveling around to look at Connor. Whether or not he would survive would have depended on his responses.

I really like coming up with ideas for monsters a lot, you guys.

It's a good thing the story ended when it did, though, because Connor was about to get #Traced.
