There's a reason I made this thread. It's going to be a progress journal, of sorts. Tomorrow, I'm going to post something about what I did that day that was productive and self-improving. If I don't do anything productive, I'll make up for it the next day.
why not get a real blog then?

Edit: Trombonista beat me to it.

No. You take your progress journal and work it out in real life. This is not your personal blog.

Orrrrrrr...

You could leave this forum and sort shit out on your own. We neither need nor want progress reports, we just want you sorted.

Let's take bets on how long this lasts, put me down for 2.
I really mean it.
OK, 3.

Why not just start a blog or something like that? It'd be a place for you to track your progress as well as a place to post your writing. It'd be a good tool to get you writing and keep track of your progress. I really don't think you being on this forum will lead to anything too positive.

A million times this.

First: What everyone else already said: just get a livejournal for that.
Second:
If I don't do anything productive, I'll make up for it the next day.
You're already planning to fuck off and do nothing. Giving yourself an excuse to procrastinate just get the ball rolling to do jack all.

My last post reminded me that I should update my LiveJournal again. I've got a set of posts planned out.

I've also been thoroughly outlining another novel I'm going to write during the summer, with roughly four paragraphs of backstory already on the page.
Show us—we want proof.

Believe me, I will. Just to prove I'm not fucking around, I'll make a bet.

You know what would be the best way to handle this? Go quiet for a bit, leave the internet (leave the Farms), and make some significant strides by volunteering, taking more classes, etc. Then, once you have actually achieved these things, come back and say "look, I did it". You won't have to prove anything, because it's already been done.

As everyone else has said, you've given us this line before. Hell, you've given every forum you've been a member on this "I'm going to change this time" speech. Next time, come to us with evidence that you already have done this.
