I'm taking this bait. Humans need to feel rewarded for their actions, no matter how small. Even if it's just a fuzzy feeling inside, that's still a reward. In socialization, the reward is feeling like they are with pleasant company. You don't seem to be pleasant company, so people won't go out of their way to befriend you.
