By the time that Trump has amended the constitution to allow himself a third and fourth term, Connor will still not be done with this novel.

How long has Connor been working on Alphaboy?
I could be wrong, but I think he started on it during the early stages of this thread. If he was granted immortality until the end of the universe itself, he still wouldn't have enough time to finish it.

"I'm not a stalker I just have autism!"

Oh Connor, you don't just 'come across,' as awkward and obsessive.

Of course even when he was called out for being a stalker he still had to let his ego come into it and talk about himself and how he could end up working with Molly some day. This guy's ego is up there with the worst of cows in my eyes. He's done nothing of note in his entire life and still he thinks he's going to be able to turn RE and Alphaboy into internationally acclaimed successes.

You know what else is telling? When you mistake something in his movie for an interpretation of a scene in a book that the movie was based on.

That whole scene with the bone represented these early hominids being taught how to use tools by the monolith. Learning how to use them for defense as well as offence. They kill the leopard that is picking them off one by one and wind up killing and eating all the antelope they desire making them healthier and learning better hunting techniques and strategies. In effect they go from being dominated by their environment to dominating it. The throwing up of the bone into the air only to have the scene change to that of a satellite shows that these two ideas are linked.

Man has now taken control of space and is moving towards dominating it as well. But instead of a bone, we're using satellites and spaceships.

Remember, Kubrick never put something into his movies that he didn't want to be there. The man was one part genius and two parts lunatic and I wish there were more filmmakers like him.

That's his own misanthropy he's seeing. For the weak, dying humans in the movie, it was a triumph.

@Connor Bible

Tomorrow is Black Friday. Not too late to get that Kettlebell. It's never too late.

Plus get the Occulus Rift.

And watch "For Your Eyes Only" and enjoy the beauty of the Winter and Sea scenes.
