I know a few people have said similar things already but I got a massive Groundhog Day vibe from reading the last few pages of this thread.

Everyone is still jumping on Connor and calling his work shit when it's been proven this is the quickest way to get him to be put off sharing content with us, people are still trying to inspire Connor with touching stories about how they did 20 classes a week while working 50 hours a week and volunteering at their local animal shelter at weekends and Conoor is rigidly showing that he's completely resistant to changing.

I think Connor will become a lot more interesting when he leaves college because for now he's stuck in the same loop and really isn't going anywhere. His most funny attribute right now is that he's almost at an Andrew Dobson level for instantly hating on anyone who criticises him. I thought we had a beautiful friendshop online and yet the minute I criticised his writing he blocked me and acted like I never existed :( If that doesn't remind you of Dobson then nothing will

nah @Connor Bible is shit and should die prob tbh

Truth be told, Connor probably doesn't want to hear what we think of his work unless we're completely in agreement and praising it as being the next big thing.

He's a lazy ass who does the least amount possible to show that at he's still doing something. He's taking two classes in college now for four days a week and he needs to psyche himself up and get into a writing trance to write or else it doesn't work. The problem is, it's not working.

Anybody that has ever coded knows of what is called a programmer's trance. Either you've experienced it or know somebody that has. It's like you're completely focused on the task at hand, you're not even thinking about it, the code is just coming from you and you're often able to do more in a couple hours than it would take you otherwise. Different people have different ways of getting into it. Mine was always lots of caffeine, a cigarette or two and some deep breathing.

Connor seems to think that this works for writing as well and it might for all I know but I've never gotten to that state when doing so. However I will tell you this. If he needs to get himself into a trance and 83 words is the best he can do, then it's not really helping him.

Had he been able to write multiple pages because of this then at least he'd have something. But instead we get a minor amount of work done. Just enough to show that he's doing something other than sitting at home and masturbating. Truth be told he's never going to change until he puts his mind to it and makes that decision. We can't do it for him.

It does (it depends on the person, I guess) but usually it's after you started writing and have been writing for a while when suddenly, you either start feeling inspired or you hit upon an idea and get excited to explore it. But never before you start.

Yeah, but if the Molly here is the genuine article, I must have gotten on her bad side. I can't friend her, or comment on the statuses.

Do you think she might have googled your name when you sent the friend request? Because when I google "Connor bible" I get all of null's sites

Connor, would you double date with me, Molly and Ally Sheedy if you and I suddenly got transported to 1984?
