CFS is meant for posting happenings related to KiwiFarms and the lolcow sphere, and occasionally massive world-changing events like the start of the Iran War. What it shouldn't be meant for is irrelevant political happenings, that's for the front page of Reddit. This post by @D_Tractor is what made me post about this, some no-name senator losing a state election isn't very relevant to the lolcow sphere or KiwiFarms, and it shouldn't be considered a community happening by that metric.

What I'm getting at is restricting USPG2 and future iterations from being linked as the main source of a happening in CFS, if an event is noteworthy enough then it'll get an article published in A&N or dedicated watch/debate thread in the rest of the Thunderdome.

The primary is closely related to Donald Trump who has several very popular threads devoted to him and who many consider to be a lolcow. Also a sitting senator losing a primary is a much rarer event than some shithole full of brown people getting bombed for Israel.

What I have learned lurking KiwiFarms is how much modern-day X/Twitter mogs KiwiFarms. The owner of KiwiFarms uses Twitter just as much as his own site. All the news and "community happenings" on KiwiFarms are just reposts of Twitter. The entire USPG2 thread is reposts of Twitter. All the lolcows come from Twitter. This entire forum is just a proxy for Twitter now; it has nothing special going for it.

It's a little difficult to agree with a restriction like this when this line is included in the first sentence of the OP of the thread;

Furthermore, wouldn't this;

Also limit all off-topic happenings? What about funny vydia-related happenings? Or sports-related ones? In fact, page 679 has two sports-related posts: one about the 'jeet that crashed at the Nürburgring and the other about the chick who quit the NASCAR season. What does that have to do with KiwiFarms and the lolcow sphere?
