Of course their moderators are all volunteers. ResetERA, if you go by their own users, will describe the forum as being run by anti-black, anti-asian, anti-trans, anti-bi, anti-women, and possibly a few more anti-'n' in there, as well as having a "age of consent" debate leak from the admin discord, which was swept up by claiming the female who called them out was a nutcase and gaslighting their forum users.

A year, not a month, according to the VG247 article linked from that thread. $4.5 million is way too little to buy out a company if it were making almost twice that a year.

Still, not bad for a splinter forum that just started up a few years ago and probably had negligible expenses. 10/10 grifting.
