Common Filth helped lead to Nick as it happens.
Yeah, CF was (somewhat) a part of rather large wave of e-christians that was building concurrently with a wave of lefty catholicism (Liz Bruenig-types) that was party spawned from 4chan/lit/. Especially after the Unite The Right fiasco a lot of these people sought cover by pivoting to religious egalitarianism and religiously driven antisemitism. Both the TradCaths and the OrthoBros were supremely subversive back then, constantly siding with "based browns", CF of course having his "godly niggers" thing.

This, together with the Optics Wars, helped propel Fuentes into prominence.

Is any of his old stuff preserved? Can people post links to what their favorite works of his were, especially for those of us who were unfamiliar?

it is impossible to quantify how influential CF was.
I liked your attempt though:

This was a bummer to hear. I knew he was driven off YouTube in 2019 and never knew he was on Odysee. I just moved on to other podcasts/commentators. It cannot be stressed that he was Nick Fuentes/Matt Walsh/Brett Cooper/whoever you want to name before they became famous. He spearheaded and popularized mocking Tumblrinas and, unlike others at the time, knew they were not going to 'grow up' and mature. He saw the writing on the wall and that they would only become more militant.

It's a shame near the end the alcoholism and demons got to him, and he lashed out at the few people he knew.

CF becoming a hardcore drunk and conspiracy theorist then death spiraling is depressing but not all that shocking to me. Even back before he lost it mentally he took the Tumblrista stuff really, really seriously like people in the streets of normal towns were doing pup play and pozzing each other on the regular. Small niche gay sex subcultures are not a representation of normal society they are the fringe.

He 100% called the tranny shit though spot on about that.

thats interesting that he mentions that he had an interest in obscure music, on episode 12 of the show he had his first guest star, this guy called local m, who CF was a fan of, i remember looking this guy up and he made noise music that i think never had more than 100 views on any of his videos

idolizing
Does that mean what you think it means? People are complicated. I don't like Sam Hyde but I like some skits. I don't like Fuentes but some of his clips are really funny. I did entire streams talking about people like Francis E. Dec and Terry Davis: is that idoltary as well?

The fact is that Common Filth was influential and he did attack a serious fucking problem before anyone else could even identify it. He was influential and people still reference his stuff to this day.

Another legend dead before Mister Medicare. Tumblristas > Tumblrisms.

Damn, I remember watching Tumblristas in high school, he definitely informed a lot of my later opinions for better or worse. RIP.

Common Filth was also influential in the sense that he was one of the first ‘right-wing’ commentators to publicly fight against the “Alt-Right”. Some of my personal favorite moments from him were his attacks on people like Richard Spencer, Milo Yiannopoulos, Mike Enoch, etc.

Apparently that’s small potatoes. Do you know anything about Common Filth and a Christmas Parade in Europe? I am hearing he did the equivalent of something Fuentes would do later on which caused people to no longer like him.

Common Filth was ironically enough, worse than your "common filth", he was a garbage human.
Take the thread on IronMarch in CW and the early pages pre-Covid and it's the same stuff here, mocking people on the Internet and then post-Covid it's full of people nostalgiafagging and actual rapefugees from the site. Same pattern here: Early pages are mockery, thread gets revived, and then everyone is pouring one out as if they lost a dear friend.

R.I.P. to the world's best Mexican Jew (Best in the world)

His uncategorized videos were the best

Poz loads. Med Resistent strains. RIP, CF. I loved your content. However, I'm not sure if it gave me polio or AIDS.

While everyone is talking about his Tumblrista videos, his Vine compilations showed how the tranny menace—and especially the pooner social contagion—was affecting late Millenial/early Zoomer girls.
