On the subject of political blacklisting, I feel I should clarify something. A few pages back somebody mentioned Chuck Dixon getting recent work at DC. Someone else mentioned that we have no idea when Bane: Conquest was written and could have been in the pipeline for a while.

That said, Chuck has openly talked about the fact that he believes he was blacklisted for political reasons. He has stated he’s always been on good terms with people of all different political affiliations (most notably Dennis O’Neil) and that his work for Marvel and DC more or less just stopped one day. He doesn’t talk about right-wing politics much but he’s openly embraced his affiliations to Vox Day and Zack because he gets consistent work from them.

Now, I can believe Chuck to a certain degree because he generally comes off as just a friendly old guy and he doesn’t do a lot to grab attention. That said, if you search his name and the magic keyword SJWs love to throw around to smear someone, many comment sections on various websites have people referring to him as a nazi, racist, homophobe etc. I would say he has been quietly cancelled by people within the industry and people outside of it have used his new affiliations to keep it that way. Here’s just a few examples I could find with a two minute Twitter search dating back to 2017.

TLDR I believe TUG is the Wormtongue within Comicsgate, there have just been too many examples of him playing a role in gayops within Comicsgate and Weeb Wars. I believe he must have dirt on multiple CG creators because otherwise he would have been kicked to the curb a long time ago.

If we go for fantasy analogies (after we finished with communist Russia) TUG is a Littlefinger to EVS's Robert Baratheon. A scheming nobody who only looks after himself, serving an oaf of a king who is celebrated for fighting against The Evil Gatekeepers but only cares for food, wenches fans and feasts livestreams.

TBH, when you have so many fish available to write a Batman comics for half the outrage and a quarter of the money, why bother with Chuck Dixon. Same applies to most of the literally whos 2017 Zack used to beef with.
Why bother hiring Darryl Ayo, Tess Fowler or the rest of the twitterati he used to talk about?
Instead you swap teams around and eventually you will get to solid writers like Bryan Edward Hill or James Tynion IV.

So yes, I can see Chuck Dixon steadily running out of work and EVS heading that direction. And it may not be about the big two going SJW, it can be down to editors deciding it was not worth 12 twitter weirdos and BC pestering for the rest of their careers.

In 2016 he worked on Clinton Cash with Brett R Smith, he received work afterwards with DC on Bane Conquest in 2017/18 and a special issue for Robin's 80th anniversary.

He also worked with Zenescope Entertainment with Van Helsing vs The Werewolf in 2017. His Batman: Chalice will be released as an omnibus in January 2020.

I've been searching for any word of his new project with DC, I do swear I heard it mentioned somewhere, but I might have got it wrong with the Batman: Chalice omnibus being released. Dixon however did get work with DC after Clinton Cash and his political blacklisting, Frank Miller has also got work with all his controversies with Superman: Year One. I do think DC isn't as bad with the blacklisting as Marvel, both Frank and Chuck have worked there since.

Kingdom Come was Alex Ross. Waid did a sequel without Ross and it was garbage. It's not just that. Busiek is the same way. Strip him and Waid of their great artists in the 90s and how good are those stories?
