But there are slower people in the industry who publicly antagonize fans far worse who got a free pass because they are friends with the right people and have the right politics. Much like what she writes, what Gail Simone says can be put in the trash without further consideration.

The point Vikki is trying to make is to insinuate that Frog was fired for reasons unrelated to the totally legitimate foundations behind "OG" Comicsgate, but smuggled himself so he could subvert the pure and good Comicsgate that was into a personality cult. This is what I mean when I analogized "Anti-CG" as Trotskyites. It is also absolutely delusional. Now we have people here in effect arguing things like Tim Doyle hiring private investigators to look into Frog's shit was because his art was slow or something.

I'd like to think a broken clock can be right twice, at least, so I don't dismiss all of Gail's words. Ethan's words can't really be trusted, because he's not aiming them at the right things, not that there isn't some truth to certain things he says or claims. In fact, the irony of it all is that the things that are almost always accurate are things about himself, that he projects onto others. I don't dismiss all of his words either.

I disagree. I think Meyer would be the Lenin in this analogy without a doubt. A man of vision who was the initial figure head of a movement he had no idea what to do with once it proved at least temporarily successful.

Ethan is clearly the Stalin character complete with the purges, the pragmatism over ideology, secret police and vain historical revisionism. Anyone whose heard the story of applause for Stalin and watched a recent Ethan live stream live stream with multiple creator/sycophants might see the parallel. Adam Post is always the last one to stop "clapping" much to Micah's chagrine.

As to Trotsky, Doug T would make a good analog. Trotsky was romanticized by many who vilified Stalin rightly and vilified by Stalanist tankies to this day. The truth is somewhere in between but makes for a less compelling story than the more extreme interpretations of noble hero or scurrilous traitor.

The main difference is that Trotsky, Stalin, Lenin and Van Sciver are all collectivist in there rhetoric and actions while Meyer and TenNaple are individualists, at least by my reckoning. I can't imagine Doug or Richard referring to their fans collectively as a group of "alpha males" or demanding loyalty to the cause.

Oh no, I'm not saying to believe someone wholeheartedly. Fuck that. I don't like either of them equally. I'm just a bit of a scale, choosing when to shift who to completely shit on and let the weight fall on them, this time around, it's just been Ethan, and I think rightfully so. I don't expect women like Gail to be able to actually achieve the "equality" they so claim to seek, but is actually seeking power plays, because society hasn't exactly treated women like they have agency to begin with, which makes them infantile and manifests in weirdos like Gail. If Gail really wanted women to be empowered, she'd have stepped down herself years ago and given the job to more capable women, or even men who can write women better than she could, but then again, because of how society has essentially become gynocentric, I don't ever expect that to happen. Ethan, however, is a man, who claims to have worked his way up in the world from a poor family (or so he claims), so he should be very familiar that the world generally treats men much harsher, yet he bitches and acts like the opposite of someone who had to build things up from scratch. Gail and Ethan are two sides of the same kind: they're both stuck in Post-Modernist thinking, explaining their constant shitty conducts. Gail gets off the hook more because that's just how society is, and if you want that to change, you'd have to restructure society, which is what this culture war bullshit is supposed to really be about, and I don't see Ethan as having done a good enough job, if even trying at all. When I speak of Lenin as the visionary I'm not speaking of the idea of communism. That wasn't even an original idea for Marx who followed Hegel, Kant and others. Lenin was a failure as a head of state unable to feed his people or organize labor post revolution. He didn't know what he was doing. Stalin tightened things up. If Lenin had lived there was a very good chance the revolution would have been countered or replaced by another by the 40's.

I'm speaking in terms of action. Meyer's vision of what comics should be wasn't original but it was him that inspired thousands of nerds. They sperged out because he started in comics what "ethics in journalism" did for gamergate and video games. Ethan was denying CG existed when it started. Ethan joined the fight after the victory (unlike Stalin, analogies are always imperfect) while Meyer was the man instigating the fight and leading from the front. Ethan didn't lead a revolution. He inherited one like Stalin did.

As to FROG level moves. Ethan played out the betrayal of Trotsky (who was a rival to the man and not a betrayer of the cause) theater again and again and again. What could be more Stalin than the FROG painting rivals as betrayers to destroy them?

His posting in Comicsgate was far less egregious with a simple "pride is a sin", compared to his old postings about homosexuals being compared to pedophiles and bestiality. Comicsgate blacklisted him for less.

Also Mitch Breitweiser worked at Marvel, not DC. DC seems far more tolerant of conservatives than Marvel. Again Mitch had a poor reputation for being late with his work, just looking at Red Rooster proves there might be some validity to those rumors.

Gail is profitting of the sexism of the comicbook industry. She is a very visible (due to twitter and body weight) woman in a field with very few prominent women. She is the go-to person when editors look for a woman writer. And she has a massive ego because of it, because a hair-dresser got to write some b-rate superhero titles. From what I have read from her, she is Zack-tier at her best. And she can write some funny tweets and funny word baloons.
And, judging from my experience with her in conventions, she went through a lot of shit early on, was told too many times she was wrong and big, strong men was the only way to do comics. She did otherwise and needs to flex about her wins. Constantly. This is why she acts like a cunt and she pulled an EVS with the Batgirl editorial. Her fake-geek-auntie youtube videos are exactly how she comes across IRL.


EVS is... I believe he is aware of his narcisism and often overplays it for show. He can also be entertaining when he does that, his larger than life persona is fun in small doses and can host a talk show quite well, maybe because of his narcisism. I can see how he could get jobs at DC (his pencils and storytelling are good) and also get on some people's nerves.
At the point he was left on his own, free from editorial and social media policies, he is getting wilder and more unhinged. The constant stress and confrontations are like a drug getting him high and validating his ego. And I can see him saying one thing, then another - what matters to him is to look good to present company.

But I cannot see him as the puppetmaster running gay ops. He is so desperate to brag about them he would be unable to keep them secret. I can see a Wormtongue in the background (maybe Ro, maybe somebody we do not see) running a lot of shit in his name while pledging full allegiance to him, dethroning everyone threatening their influence.

Both of them are products of the late 90's comicbook industry - mediocre (Gail)/solid (EVS) creators with massive egos, raised to great standards by shill media, fanbois and fungirls, the convention circle and wannabes who buttered them up to get a foot in the door. I have been in a lot of conventions and have met some legendary creators from the 70's and 80's. They tend to be the kindest, most humble normal people one can meet.
The 90's ones are so bloated with ego, weird and prone to be insulted by any comment.
EVS says that the Wizard magazine made comics great. I believe it created the culture that destroyed comicbooks. And then Women In Refrigerators, Bleeding Cool and all those pop culture blogs created a generation of nobodies that thought they would be Alan Moore reborn if they added a Latina Lesbian character with the side of her head shaved in their sci fi comic. As if Love And Rockets was never a thing...

I slightly agree and disagree. I think Ethan runs gay ops here and there, but he's not the definite puppet master, at least, not always. We've seen that Ro is the one who wears the pants in the dynamic between them, so it's clear that Ro and WC run things, but I'm pretty sure if not a lot, then some of it is discussed beforehand and told to Ethan either before or after it was being conducted. WC have elevated themselves by claiming to do things in good faith for what's best for CG.

As to Trotsky, Doug T would make a good analog. Trotsky was romanticized by many who vilified Stalin rightly and vilified by Stalanist tankies to this day. In this case I find it more likely he got fired for a mix of politics and laziness as Waid still works at Marvel. Ethan's known to be a slow and lazy artist, which is what probably did the most damage. Politics also really didn't help.

Thing is, Waid has "Kingdom Come" under his belt, so he's got that best-seller/critical success to help offset some of his dickishness.

So, for right or wrong, Waid is always going to be seen as that dick who wrote a classic, while EVS is always going to be that dick who did a TMNT knock-off and was an also-ran on Green Lantern.

The Praetorian and other leaks provide a good look at how CG operates behind the scenes. This will be a long post, with information already provided to this and other threads so I'll spoiler it to prevent it taking up too much space.

Spoiler: LEAKED DM'S

The above image was from a WC group chat, the person Gat Hanzo (author of Vestige) is talking to is Praetorian himself. From this screenshot we can see that Praetorian was the one who was running the CG Anon account with Warcampaigns prior knowledge since Gat tells him to "kill the account". Gat also reveals that he doesn't trust Rax(?) and Yellow Flash, TUG they trust but only one way information implies that TUG feeds them intel on others.

Here we can see Praetorian is sharing a private DM with Ethan to Panboy Soychild Donglover. Ethan clearly approves of CG Anons actions in going after Nerkish, but probably had no fore knowledge of it. Ethan also guesses wrongly that CG Anon is Sketch Therapy, which Panboy replied "CAN'T EVER TELL HIM". This to me, means that Warcampaign's gayops may not always be sanctioned by Ethan in advance. The line about "Ro Kabir was out of town, when that happened, so it wasn't us" seems to also imply that Ro is the one who gives the others their marching orders on gayops and since his out of town they can feign innocence to Ethan if he suspects they were involved.

Here Praetorian is talking to TUG, telling him "he has an all access pass" which implies TUG is in deeper with Warcampaign than his willing to admit. It could be that Praetorian is just buttering TUG up and stoking his ego, since in the first message Gat Hanzo implies that TUG and Warcampaigns relationship will be a one way street from now on. Notice TUG is leaking information from a larger CG creator group to Praetorian/WC as Nerkish tries to defend himself against the Discord allegations.

In the final image we see TUG leaking more of Nerkish's responses to Praetorian and comments "Lol. Fun times" implying that TUG seems to relish in Nerkish's angst and the gayop he has taken part in. TUG is extremely two faced in nature, he can't be trusted by anyone in any of the movements he takes part in.

The following image was leaked in the MBA thread on the Weeb Wars board. An individual was doxed and created the account @AzraelStCloud to come and explain himself. He claims that TUG recruited him to engage in gayops against Kick Vic youtuber Mad Black Atheist, he leaked this conversation where he was getting targeted by pro-Vic supporters while trying to be under cover in MBA's crew. Azrael clearly wants out of the Op but TUG "wrote to senpai to tell him you're a friendly".

There were also the DMs leaked in DA Talks videos regarding TUG and his two faced nature with Emosh and Senpai in the ISWW movement. There are about 10 in total, I won't post them all because this has probably gone on long enough but his video can be found on bitchute here:

TLDR I believe TUG is the Wormtongue within Comicsgate, there have just been too many examples of him playing a role in gayops within Comicsgate and Weeb Wars. I believe he must have dirt on multiple CG creators because otherwise he would have been kicked to the curb a long time ago.
