I didn’t think much of it until I noticed that several comic pros follow him. I should mention, I’m referring to Cates and Jordan. John Buscema is dead:

Some of this speds additional comments. As autistic as EVS’ sycophants are, it’s a good reminder that this is the level of discourse comic pros support and CG did, at some point, serve a purpose:

He must have creamed his pants knowing industry giants like and follow his completely rational ramblings.

I'm sure the quarter pounder would agree with me when I say the best thing to ever happen to him was getting his ass beat by a dude in a dress.

Much better was that the homo did not get away with it.
A confidential settlement was ordered by a court.
Also it had to publicly apologize.
The outcome at that point showed the degenerates that starting now actions can have consequences.

The art style ? There are none in this. It's just ultra shakey lines that never show any understanding of what he is drawing, because he has traced every fucking thing in this book. Everything is a mismatch of copy paste / tracing of anime poses / images under his canvas.
Interesting, is there any comparison pics around for the stuff he traced?

Hambly is a fatfuck that has no idea what he is talking about 9 times out of 10. He is a much more furry fatter Tug. Looks like Harry Knowles if he dyed his hair and changed his location on the spectrum.

I'm sure he watches videos others make and then makes his own.

I'm sure he ain't the only one doing it either.

Just saw this today. Last time I heard about this project it was going to be a hardcover titled “Warts and All” (a much better name IMO). Now it’s two separate books with foil covers. Presumably they won’t be squarebound given the issues he had with the chromium (just my assumption). I also don’t see the need for new lettering and coloring if it’s just a reprint of old books.

EDIT: Actually, it looks like I’m not the only one to remember this. I haven’t seen this sped in a while. Looking through his tweets it seems to be a different, less autistic, person.

This isn't something different? He was talking about that Hardcover like just a month or two ago. I also seem to recall him talking about multiple versions and one having like a weird textured cover that was supposed to resemble frog skin or something?

It all sounded really expensive tbqh, so maybe he came to his sense and realized people just want the stories and are not looking for an expensive collectors piece?

I agree. The overhead on hardcovers is obscene if Doug’s testimony is to be believed. That said, the foil covers raise an eyebrow since it doesn’t sound like the books will be squarebound, and I don’t see the appeal of a floppy omnibus held together with staples.

Also, isn’t Starblades late? The campaign for the new Cyberfrog books say they’re going to be fulfilled in July. I don’t want to harp on Kyle Ritter too much since I know he had a recent trip to the hospital, but he seems to be spending a lot of time working on campaigns that aren’t his own.

Plus, staples rust over time and stain the paper.
One thing I learned from book conservation is to string the book together (preferably with material that will last).
Squarebound books are something I'm happy that Meyer is choosing to go with.

Another stream crying about how jilted he is over Mike breaking up about him. Also Cecil has lost any hint of self awareness.

"You look like lunatics". Says the man, in a ski mask who got kicked out for actually looking like a lunatic. Glass houses there fella.

When are people going to realize that someone saying, "I don't like your hat," is not violating free speech? You can still wear your hat, dude. It's your freedom of expression to be able to wear the hat, yes, but it's also other peoples' freedom to criticize the hat. It would only be a violation of free speech if the government prevented one or both parties from expressing their opinions.

Don't get me wrong. I think it's stupid for comic artists and writers to post political shit at all on their SM (because it does nothing but start autistic discourse) but people misunderstanding the concept of free speech is one of my pet peeves. Freedom of speech means that the government or associated bodies cannot restrict your expression. It does not mean that you can do and say whatever you want without other citizens disagreeing with you.

Also this guy saying that his side is the "good guys" is profoundly arrogant, my god. Imagine viewing people who disagree with you as supervillains. Talk about a lack of integrative complexity.

Everything is a mismatch of copy paste / tracing of anime poses / images under his canvas. The whole thing is made of tracing manga dynamic poses 99% of the time by retargetting it to the most bland character design on top of it. The 1 % when he needs to understand any basics of anatomy looks like trash.

Interesting, is there any comparison pics around for the stuff he traced?

Different projects.

Warts and All will contain absolutely everything I can get my hands on, all of the books, all of the house ads, all of the unprinted and unprintable stuff from CyberFrog in one big hardcover, but the point is to keep it all the same. The black and white stuff will stay black and white. I'm launching that in June...It's a big job assembling it.

In the meantime, I'm having the original stuff colored and releasing them as groovy new floppies with foil embossed covers.

I'll also repackage the original #1-4 as a trade paperback with a new cover, and Reservoir Frog #1 & 2 with Cyberfrog #0 as a new TPB, also with a new cover.

Repackaging the old stuff is something Brian Pulido always does, and since I own it all, it seems like a good idea.

Unusual for him.

Given how poorly informed he is on civics, I'm not surprised he came in knowing nothing about American courts or is leaving with the view justice is bought. Its not that simple, but either way I hope he grits it out. He's in the right and nothing would be sweeter than watching all Waid's kingdom come money he's sponged off of go to Richard's next ten Jawbreaker products.

Makes me think of what Marvel did to Jim Shooter in the 90s.

Listening to this makes me think Richard expected Mark to just give him the money, the property and bend over as a bonus. Shockingly people defend themselves in court and dragging the case is a known strategy yet Richard acts like this is a new thing. Also I don't think he realizes that interference isn't an issue. He has to prove that it caused damage not distract himself with what Mark did. It wouldn't surprise me if Mark wins this at this point
