I haven't seen this much fucking drama in electronic format since the Goons proceeded to rape EVE Online's biggest guild using social engineering and meta platforming.
I don't even get the argument that's happening in here besides "GIB US THE EXPOSURE WE'RE ENTITLED TO REEEE!" at this point. It just screams of "how dare you disagree with me" too. It just seems like entitled people mad that these people they're fans of didn't get the nod from a guy who made a comic about a frog.

Makes me just not want their fucking products in general if these brain trusts are their unofficial spokesmen.

Speaking of which, thanks @FROG for reminding the Red Rooster guys that they need to update to the backers. I put money down on it a good while ago and I was always wondering about that one.
Definitely truth to that, although folks like LNC were turning this thread into a litmus test on EVS long before he showed up.
I only was annoyed at the delay. These weirdos want to murder/fuck him to death.

you can just buy that exposure. just get frogguy a pie or 5 and he will be happy again.

When are Space Ghost and Snowflame getting those Person of Interest badges because you two are going full tilt with the exceptionalism holy shit.
Do you two have shrines to EVS in your closets as well? I thought LNC was the only one.
I killed myself but I left the shrine. If anyone wants some EVS comics and pictures of Betty let me know its part of the suicide estate sale.

The shuttering of Vertigo was just made official.

(I had forgotten Vertigo published iZombie--god damn that tv show is garbage)
You know, on one hand it sucks that the imprint that brought us such great works like Fables, Sandman, and Lucifer is gone. On the other hand, that thing hadn't been the Vertigo once synonymous with great comics in years. Good riddance and fuck whoever at DC thought this whole debacle was a good idea.

IDW to Publish the Mueller Report as a Graphic Novel
Posted by Rich Johnston June 21, 2019 10 Comments

Shannon Wheeler, longstanding comics creator famous for Too Much Coffee Man (and for cosplaying as his character), Sh*t My President Says, God is Disappointed in You and new work for the upcoming Heavy Metal comedy spinoff Soft Wood has teamed up with actual journalist Steve Duin to turn the Mueller Report into a comic book…
IDW to Publish the Mueller Report as a Graphic Novel
Fight the spin spewing forth from both parties and political pulpits and check out this graphic novel that brings a 400-page legal document down to size. Wheeler and Duin, in graphic form, bring to life scenes detailed in the report: from the infamous Trump Tower Meeting of 2016 to Trump exclaiming “I’m f*cked” upon finding out he was the subject of investigation. It’s in the report and it’s in the graphic novel!
The Mueller Report: Graphic Novel borrows style from classic private detective yarns, complete with a villain’s rogues’ gallery, nail-biting cliffhangers, and a lone lawman standing proud against the wave of crime.
And they seem to know their audience;

See Trump berate his Attorney General. Watch a petulant Commander-in-Chief lob insults at the White House counsel. Witness the “witch hunt” as it happened, cataloged as only the top lawman in the country could!
This staggering laundry list of questionable contacts, misleading statements, unreported engagements, and possible coordination — enough to stun any student of the U.S. Constitution — is laid bare with a cold, satirical edge.
You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You may Tweet in anger. But most importantly, you will be reading the report for yourself!
“It’s the Mueller Report… with pictures… and funny,” explains Wheeler.
But you’ll have to wait almost as long as the actual Mueller Report took as The Mueller Report Graphic Novel goes on sale in April 2020, from IDW Publishing. 208-page, black & white squarebound softcover, 6″ x 9″…

When can we expect the Obama edition with all his "amazingly" "progressive" politics

The shuttering of Vertigo was just made official.

Sad.

But then again, fuck NuVertigo. It was a shell of its former glory. I'm just so distraught we won't get that ending to Bordertown from that molester, or I was a teenage Gamergator by infamous hack/fraud Quinn.

Also, didn't DC fire Andy Khouri upwards? Isn't he working on something new now?

"21 Spider-Man Family Books" just for September.

Fuck off Marvel, Spider-Man does not need 21 damn books. You have other characters, use 'em
You think they'd have learned that in the 90s when they had SPIDER MAN THE AMAZING SPIDER MAN WEB OF SPIDER MAN SPIDER MAN UNLIMITED SPIDER MAN 2099 SCARLET SPIDER SPIDER SPIDER SPIDER MAN II RISE OF THE COBRA SURFER

...I'm kind of mildly interested in Absolute Carnage though. If anything gets me to read a new comic, it's definitely Carnage.

Now they have Disney money though so they don't have to worry about killing themselves.
