It's honestly impressive that they managed to save it at all. Characters were quietly pushed to the side like Geoffrey and by the second part of Endangered Species, that arc got completely kneecapped by the lawsuit and they couldn't even use like 90% of the characters needed. Hell you could literally see some of the last minute edits if I remember correctly. World's Collide happening when it did gave them just time to bullshit a soft reboot. Plus it was a pretty good crossover. Shame Penders had to threaten a second lawsuit and kill it for good

I'm holding out for the S&M Dom version of Mr. Weatherbee, Mr. Leatherbee, myself.

A friend of mine actually started that parody, Mr. Leatherbee as the new principal of Riverdale High, etc. But he was way too much into weed and booze at the time to accomplish that, or much of anything else for that matter. And now that he's found Jesus and had babies I doubt he'd be up for it. Too bad, because he really nailed the Archie style artwork, circa the 1960s/1970s comic books as far as he got. Ah, youth and its missed opportunities, and me never learning what happened when Moose and Midge were called to the office. :(

The fact that mombot managed to get Renfamous to engage in rational conversation, Renfamous didn't flip out irrationally as most people do to mombot, and still skewered themselves on their own lance is really elegant. I have deep respect for mombot's careful tip-toeing on a platform stacked against her. ??

Gonna chirp up again for the Alterna IndieGoGo campaign. It's ending in four days and they're about $2300 away from their last stretch goal. Swing by and get some floppies on the cheap and help out a guy who's not even a self-identified ComicsGater but has been the victim of some of the antis' worst tactics regardless.
 
So Jessie Miller spent all Saturday morning shitting all over himself trying to do an expose on #warcampaign. Leaking DM's, most of which we've already seen when Late Night Comics shat all over himself. These were nothingburgers the first time around, and Miller actually went into the dumpster to try and recycle these. Its interesting that, as spergtastic as #warcampaign is, their detractors are twice as dumb and three times as autistic.

I enjoy TUG coming out of the woodwork to point out that JM is full of shit. JM's response screams of the type of language coming from #kickvic and other SJW fake rage movements.
