When he started his channel it was entirely about comics. He spoke about drawing, about what equipment he uses, he did videos on his past work and provided some additional commentary for it, he even had "interviews" with other established creators. I probably have watched all of his old comics related videos and it sure as hell didn't look like he didn't like talking about that stuff.

Then he started sperging about Star Wars and his viewership exploded (relatively to what he had before) and he never looked back.

Ethan is a scam artist and a career huckster. The only reason he needs money is to pay off all the "Nancy's" out there before the IRS and feds start looking into his accounting.
There is a VERY good reason no real professionals associate with Ethan.

Ethan uses a lot of aliases. Then again I'm not surprised. Ethan spent most of his "artistic" career ripping off commissioners with his ex wife Sharis by promising them "EVS" quality masterpieces and never delivering them.

Then he went on to stealing from banks and just not paying his bills.
Now this? An almost million dollar scam so he gets a free house? That turd of a frog book he's working on is a joke. 88 pages? Fat gay caesar can go heil hitler the fuck away from comics.

He has multiple voter registrations depending on which of his pseudonyms you look up, he's registered republican under his real name though. His rent was over 4k a month he is lying about his financial means.
There are extremely strange price and sale issues with every house he is involved with.

He's likely playing some perfectly legal tax games that involve shuffling money and/or assigning leaseholds & mortgages to different things. Lots of people do that stuff. Everyone can do that stuff, and they should. All you need is knowledge and the right accountant.

That's fine and dandy but if you have that much money why get involved in all of the nonsense and slap fights with twitter speds over $2 superchats when he should be working instead of making promises (see cyberfrog update).
Promising an amazing comic and streaming for hours screeching about twitter speds do not go hand in hand my friend.

I feel like you could do this a lot better. Dig up those people who won his Youtube giveaways and never received their stuff. I saw someone talking about that in a chat ages ago. Or find someone who paid for a commission or something from eBay that they never received or got a refund for. I actually believe they probably exist, knowing how disorganized EVS can be. Find actual shit that affects fans. #BeBetter

It may be impossible for them because they are a bunch of talentless losers only hired for their blue hair and woke credentials and willingness to work for nothing just because of their total desperation to be culturally relevant at all on the back of IP created by the white males they despise.

It makes infinitely happy to know these morons will never be successful enough to get anywhere near a million dollars in their lifetime. Like I’ve mentioned before EVS managed to get 3/4 of a million dollars on 1 frog book, it is completely possible. By the time he makes his Rainbow Brute comic and it's 8 variant cover IGGs, he'll have reached a million easily.

And this is solely because people respect EVS himself, as an artist. It isn't because they recognize Cyberfrog as a preexisting property.

The only reason these fat dangerhair troons and other comics "pro" vermin even sell any copies at all is people recognize the IP they're bastardizing with their woke garbage. And even with that monstrous advantage and Marvel/DC's monopolistic practices, they still have absurdly stagnant sales numbers in a dying industry.

It isn't comics that's dying, though. It's their shitty parasitized industry.
 
Lets not oversimplify this. EVS making lots of money from IGG is not on his talent entirely. Culture War being a thing and EVS sperging about it every day plays a big role in that.
