Our Goy Zach received 10's of thousands of dollars from CG to fight a lawsuit, he backed out of. His Nar-Zack Comics are some of the shittiest comics ever made. His Sly Stalone book was years late, and the signed copies never came.

Richard or as I like to say (Dick) was outed as a Degen doing porn in shoe shops. This is a guy who hasn't upgraded his phone, computer, or car in 15 years. Why do we still give a fuck about this guy? let him have his nerd cope streams about what ever is on his mind in peace.

Richard C Meyer has nothing to do with comicsgate (for years!) stop shitting up the comics gate thread, with his boring takes, and go do it on his video's you fucking nerds.
We always knew that the lawsuit would be settled. The important thing was for retarded bullies to stop trying to ruin anti-woke business which the lawsuit largely accomplished. No one should defend the Nar-Zack Comics though.

2. No. As long as he’s still shilling comics to the same losers that are clinging to EVS, Malin, and whoever else, while scorched-earthing the American (and to a smaller degree Japanese) comic industry so you only turn to their garbage, he’s on their wave length.
Grab some cooling ass-cream, speak on who you want to, and stop trying to police others.
This. He is in the same business as them selling to the same customers as them. EVS might want Comicsgate to be EVS and Sons but it was always a movement made by people who did not like what was done in western comics. EVS did not create it nor help it in any way. And he certainly does not own it.

I’ve been seeing this account pop up here and there. They claim they’re being unbiased and looking at the drama objectively, but it’s really not hard to see which way they favor.

That last one is especially ironic since they said this just before.

Oh yeah I got blocked months ago by this guy for pointing out that exact thing. He claims to be unbiased but is clearly CG leaning. I basically called him CNN for claiming to be unbiased but clearly not.

that account will share something without proper context, get corrected, and the reply to everyone "i was just sharing, idk"

I don't how much it was covered, but Camelot made a real spectacle out of himself after his ARCA racing crash. His crash was with an ARCA racer currently in the top-five overall for the series. A driver who matters whereas Camelot doesnt. Camelot got interviewed after the wreck and cut a pro-wrestling promo on the guy.

He then got into it with the guy's brother on X after the interview. I suppose he thinks he can drama himself into a real car on a real team. But thats unlikely to happen.

Oh yeah, I’ve seen that a lot from him too. “I’m just sharing what I found, im not saying anything one way or the other. I’m just posting drama.” Ect ect

Anyways, I noticed that he keeps assuming what “normies” are doing, and what they want. What I don’t get it, if you’re sick of the culture war, then why not engage with the real reasons the wider population may be engaging with things less.

Example:

1. Economy
2. Over saturation / too many choices
3. Lack of promotion by company
4. Yes, Political lecture fests (but being tired of that doesn’t automatically mean you’re in a war, they could simply say “no thank you”)
5. Cultural interests at the time
6. A mix of the above &/ or other things

Why keep assuming everyone is attending the church of Yellowflash & Co. (even though Zack is too much of a bitch to start naming his new obsessions).
Zack understood exactly what you're saying here UNTIL he dropped the Waid lawsuit. Everything changed after that. His content, his attitude, and his business took a turn for the worse and he never really recovered. I won't say it completely broke him, but it put a significant crack in him. Maybe the Piskor shit finished the job.

Before/during the Waid drama, Zack's stance on the culture war stuff was pretty much that he didn't want to read Superman lecturing him on abortion or trannies. It's one thing to write a story that involves those elements, but Superman (or any established character) shouldn't be the mouthpiece for the writer's political platform.
It's shortsighted, lame, and gay. A completely rational take.

AFTER he dropped the suit, he began to express a belief that creators had a duty...nay, an obligation to comment on current events and to use their platform to take a stand for what they believed. In other words, he adopted much the same attitude towards art and pop culture as his leftist enemies: artists are obliged to be activists.
Did this mean Zack would start injecting his political views, moral stances, and takes on current events into his Jawbreakers comics through carefully considered plots and character development, assuring that they'd be seen and absorbed by as many of his fans as possible while making the most money he can? LOL no.

What he did was start new campaigns for books that amounted to extremely expensive Chick Tracts based on events that were current when Zack wrote them. He threw together comics about COVID, the quarantine, the war in Ukraine, cancel culture, and whatever the fuck that 499 book was about. He even got so high on his own breakfast burrito farts that he started calling his stupid ass books "Theosophy". It's a safe bet he never googled the term and had no idea who Helena Blavatsky was.
Anyhow, those books were MASSIVE failures, with Impossible Stars being the only one to break $100k, IIRC. At that point, Zack had several lackluster campaigns going at once and his audience was practically begging him to 1) ship his books and 2) dance with the one who brought him and just do more Jawbreakers. Eventually he relented and did more Jawbreakers (out of sheer necessity), but he was not thrilled about it so he killed them off.

All that is to say that Zack began to openly resent his audience after he dropped the suit. He didn't like having to answer to people who gave him hundreds of thousands of dollars to do something he quit on. He didn't like that they chose not to buy his Theosophy horseshit. He hates the fact that they want their books in a reasonable time frame and are vocal about it. He can't stand the idea that they hold Hollywood to the same standards of content that they do comics. He fucking loathes the fact that all they want from him is roasts, rants, and Jawbreakers comics.

As for why he makes assumptions about normies and what they want, just know that Zack possesses a near female capacity for solipsism and projection. Like the "CROWDFUNDING IS DEAD" video where he famously figured that his own failing campaigns were really a symptom of the entire indie scene collapsing rather than him selling shit nobody wanted with an attitude nobody asked for.

I say this, as I say about Hollywood.

Do you want someone to like your side projects? Make them as good as your main projects. I bought Jawbreakers 1 because I was knee-deep in the swamp with the rest of CG, but I actively avoided his stupid Kane and Lynch (I honestly for the life of me can't think of the real title off the top of my head) comic after I bought the second one and it was dreadful. I think a lot of people did the same. Zach is not a great storyteller unless it's something he really, really cares about and while I don't think Jawbreakers was a great story either, at least he loved G.I. Joe enough to just do that with a lower budget.

One too many shitty side projects and that's why they started dipping. It didn't help he also got the worst artists for most of the projects.

The lawsuit did not give him his desired results because he assumed King Baby would never be slapped across the face by his industry friends and told to settle. Waid 's friends propably told him "Look, we have work for you at DC but you have to settle because you really are in the wrong here, so you will give him some money and he will never talk about you again". Something like that. Perhaps we all had unrealistic expectation and due to the settlement, he could not explain what happened to those pestering him.

He really needed someone to tell him when his ideas were stupid. Not everyone can have 1000 ideas and have most of them be good. Most ideas are shit. In the manga industry, most of your ideas are expected to be tossed out. Expect it and do not fall in love with them too much. Zack made a bunch of comics with most of his first drafts as a basis and it shows.

Hey, so there's been a twitter user going around threatning people's families over Dick and the Comicsgate people, defending them named Krimcl. So I thought I'd give you all a bit of information about them...

Okay so if you go to the krimcl prof page there's a link to an indiegogo. Follow that link the campaign says it's in Ferndale, US. Now there are many of those in the US but a simple targeted google search of the username krimcl yields multiple results including an instagram under the same username, sperging on about Dick and riley etc. In this instagram is a photo of someone holding a menu for an oyster house in Bellingham WA
https://www.instagram.com/p/3jw8KeJoPm/

Ferndale is a town in Bellingham WA.

Further searching the same username yielded links to reddit posts for r/Bellingham
https://www.reddit.com/user/krimcl/

Other targeted searches lead to an email address krimcl@gmail.com

Targeted search of that email address linked to a very interesting spreadsheet
https://www.whatcomcounty.us/DocumentCenter/View/18391/2016-PCO-Filings?bidId=

In that spreadsheet is the email addres krimcl@gmail.com associated with the name:
Kristopher McLane-Leavitt (Kri Mc L)
At the address: 838 W Axton Rd #47, Bellingham, WA, 98226
With the phone number (360) 441-4010
Granted this was a register from 2016 so a little out of date.

Searching this name displays a voter record registered in 2007 for that person stating they are born in 1987
https://voterrecords.com/voter/42346315/kristopher-mclane-leavitt

Also interestingly this person is linked with the twitter account @dickingtonpost
And through some very clever searches of the geocode data associated with their recent posts puts them in the area of Pittsburgh International Airport. I can only triangulate to within 4.5km though, so I would say they are somewhere smack bang in the middle of between The Airport, Carnot, Mcallisters Crossroads and Bon Mead.
If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say he's been posting tweets by @dickingtonpost from around Robert Morris University, and I would say and this is just presumption, from Moon Plaza. And the reason I say that is because on his @dickingtonpost profile, it says his location is "Moon" and given that his username is just basically his
names initials, he's not very creative

Please, let me know if you disagree...

Rippaverse is merely better than CURRENT DC and Marvel as well as most Comicsgate stuff. Nothing legendary.
I have to disagree with that at least in regards to art. But I hope he improves and the seething at him from other CGrs is pure jealousy. I hope he continues to do well sales wise.

Another caveat is that a lot of comicsgate stuff isn’t always the best drawn or written.

I am talking mostly about writing but the Twink Drake issues in DC and much of current Marvel are shit visually as well as writing wise. Also, I appreciate that he brings other people to write and draw as well and looks like he might improve into the future.

It depends on the comic really.

I don’t consider myself an artist I just like sketching and painting minis in my free time, but some of the panels had problems with perspective and shading. Not as egregious as some of the comics put out by Zack. But not something I’d rubber stamp personally. He just needs to tidy it up some more.

The main thing he does right is that he delivers on time and he tries to make something his fans would like. Which puts him ahead of most people in the space.

I think Eric could use some new artists and maybe more hires that are not tied to the "sektur". Chuck Dixon & Joe Bennett are solid gets but I think he could benefit expanding the art & writing department.

Says the guy that cries about trannys & blacks despite having interracial children.

He’s even using their arguments. Right down to “why do you care what’s in your kid’s entertainment, how does that affect you??”.

I agree his pretentious books are not only the laughable attempts of a man who thinks he’s smarter than he is, but how are they not almost as stupid as lesbian bike riding anthologies? It’s better, sure, but by an eyelash.

He’s shaping up for an audience that wouldn’t touch him even if they were promised total chud death and the revolution after doing so

—————

On the subject of Eric’s books, I haven’t read them (I might read a couple over the coming weekend), so I can’t say they’re better than current DC or Marvel.
That just came off like an odd strawman to me, because that’s the common sentiment I remember seeing floating around about Cyberfrog, Jawbreakers, and monster high or whatever Malin did (I really forgot the name).
