I don't think people are so much "defending" Mint, as they are taking stock of the fact she was really young and impressionable when she got involved in this.

If you don't know the backstory, Dick encouraged her to run away from her parents. Then she got passed around Dick's clique before finally ending up with Riley.

I think it's more apt to say that people are far more disgusted with Dick than anyone else, including her, and for good reason.

Well I don't think anyone following this would disagree with this take, she was drawing porn and who knows what else she was doing while she was with her parents. People are just grossed out that a bunch of degenerates talked an autist into becoming a whore for their own amusement and she's too weak-willed or stupid to get out of it. Hell Daxipad had to call in a rescue squad when Riley got arrested because he knows leaving her to her own devices is a bad idea.

Mint is a retard but she is not so critically retarded that she should not be capable of identifying right from wrong. She made her choices and gets what she fucking deserves, though she is still young enough that some Galahad might yet gallop to her rescue and make of her his tard-wife.

Dax and his band of degenerates have more culpability by virtue of the fact that they are (hypothetically) normally functioning adults. I am in favor of which ever outcome results in the maximum amount of suffering for all described parties.

She's not "ward of the state" retarded, no. Though sometimes she seems pretty damn close.

I do think a fairly solid argument could be made her issues are more nurture than nature though.

Whatever the case, she's fucked, and there's no chance of that changing as long as she hangs with who she hangs with.

She’s clearly brain damaged, could be an opioid baby or feral alcohol given she was adopted. She probably knows what’s right and wrong to a certain degree, but relies on the people around her to signal that. Which is why the internet is so damaging for retards. When she called the Dick show, if he’d said to her she should stay with her parents she’d still be there. But he didn’t so he could gift Riley a mentally incapacitated woman to piss on on camera. The fact that when she was alone after Riley’s arrest, all she had to do was return to the hotel, but Dax knew she’d struggle and had to tweet at people in the venue to go and help her. Which is damning.

I don’t really know if I feel sorry for her, but her treatment and procurement (isolation from parents etc) is disturbing. She isn’t retarded enough where she can’t pass in normal society to some degree sure, but look at JF’s wife, she could also pass to some degree but had absolutely no way of getting herself out of that situation because the mental capacity just isn’t there. Now she’s dead.

TLDR Mint is more retarded than some people think
