I am not arguing on whether or not he was always trash (he might have been, he might not). Getting a spotlight, an audience and a cause to rally behind/take over gave him a high he loves more than he does comics. Before that, at least he was meeting his deadlines and his work/family/friend drama was not reaching us. When he was woking for a publisher, he was forced to be on his best behaviour. Now, he no longer feels like hiding things like that.

At risk of drawing ire from all those sympathetic to this creature, do we not think Mint Salad has any accountability at all for the things she is mixed up in?

I mean, if she was that critically autistic that she wasn’t responsible for her actions, she would of course be the subject of a search from the authorities. Obviously she’s not at that part of the spectrum; can we therefore not at least stop treating her like the otherwise unspoiled angel who is a completely innocent victim of the scumbags she’s around?

I’m seeing this fucking specimen getting too much of a pass in all this. As far as I can see, she’s just as fucking degenerate as Dick and Riley.

However I simply don’t agree that being autistic absolves her of the things she’s involved in. For sure, she’s likely easily manipulated and I don’t doubt most of the behaviour is heavily influenced by the other pervert(s).

I’m just not buying that she’s Dolores fucking Dei. She can drive. She can dress like a low-grade hooker. I don’t think therefore that it is a stretch to believe she can take some responsibility for the mess she’s in.
