YouTube had my channel subs rolling backwards because my livestreaming. They're now going forward, in spite of it.

More than 2000 new followers on Twitter.

I kept the names vague deliberately to avoid calling out people personally. My opinion is that certain people have made alot of money off comicsgate and this is a situation where several of them should give back. I'm sure every one of them can find lots of reasons not to do it, but its the right thing to do. A few thousand dollars each would do it.

It would be better to find someone familiar with the law of that particular federal circuit, but any competent help from an attorney he gets will be better than no help at all.

I'd love to hand a big pile of cash to Dean and Vikki but my money reacts poorly to mayonnaise or something, if I recall.

Nevertheless, I'd like to see a fundraiser arise for Dean, but

1. It's not going to be coming from me. I'm glad we're no longer at odds, but we're not exactly friends.

2. I've promoted two GoFundMes for lawsuits that didn't have satisfying legal results for the people who donated. My "donate to this legal fund" clout is nil right now. If I ever ask ComicsGate for a legal warchest again, it's going to be for myself, and I'll actually see the lawsuit through.

3. ComicsGate mostly dislikes or distrusts Dean and VikkiVerse for their activities over the last 3 or 4 years. Asking them for money to help Dean and Vikki is going to be met with jeers.

4. The way you "give back to ComicsGate" is by backing people's comics and promoting their campaigns. Supporting legal fundraisers is nice and appreciated, but CGers seem to be here for the comics and livestreams.

People are really overreacting to this. It's not Superman, it's his son Jon, who's only been around for like six years. People are squawking about how the big two need to make new gay characters instead of changing the sexualities of established ones, but I wouldn't describe "kid who was created six years ago" an established character. The pornographic book was published by Lion Forge Comics and is titled “Gender Queer: A Memoir.” It was authored and illustrated by Maia Kobabe, who uses the made-up pronouns of e/em/eir and whose work focuses on “anti-fascism,” according to a description on Amazon. Nicole Solas, a resident of South Kingstown and mom of a kindergartener, posted a picture of the book in a display case on Twitter and highlighted the pornographic images contained between the covers. Solas also posted an image of the typed-out report that she says she sent to police, writing that she is submitting “evidence of distribution of pornography at North Kingstown High School” and that the book was made “available to minor children.” “Gender Queer” is also highlighted in the library of East Greenwich High School, another school in Rhode Island, prompting Solas to call for the prosecution of the school employees who are responsible for its distribution.
The book, which is currently ranked no. 11 in Amazon’s “LGBTQ+ Graphic Novels” section, features discussion of gay sexual fantasies and is incredibly graphic, including scenes of gay men having sex and a scene of one man performing oral sex on another.

Finally, a year after BRZRKR launched its record setting $1.4M campaign, Richard C Meyer put out another video asking if crowdfunding comics is losing steam.

It definitely looks that way for some people. Who could have predicted this? This goes on for about twenty three minutes. Topics include:

• Brett Booth of the newly minted internet gang of comic artist Artist Elite Comics, after years of "will he, won't he?" speculation on his joining Comicsgate, launched his and Scott Lobdell' The Anybodies on Kickstarter to a very underwhelming launch of $13,820. Meyer blames on this on a number of extremely well thought out causes, like offering digital tiers and the well known fact (to Meyer) that everyone perceives Kickstarter being "lame" and Indiegogo being the crowdfund platform for cool rebel bad boys.
• The correct time to break into crowdfunded comics was 2018 to 2020 like when Meyer did, when it looked like anyone could get in (true). Now there's more competition. Also you should never do digital tiers ever.
• Shane Davis and Aaron Lopresti in contrast to Kickstarter normies like Booth and Jimmy Palmiotti (and himself) are on the rise from their first to second campaigns. Shane is a 100% rebel bad boy who went Indiegogo-only in Meyer's book and he didn't make a gay catbook that he refused to buy, and Lopresti got heat after SJWs talked about him on twitter.
• Reluctantly at the very end, Meyer concludes that all that "Comicsgate crap" like self promoting and going on livestreams "does help" by generating excitement, but then quickly pivots back to his cope argument that the real factor is the cool cachet of people that use Indiegogo over Kickstarter.

I still don't understand why any of theses creators (pro or not) don't just use both Indiegogo and Kickstarter(unless you have an exclusive behind the scenes deal with one of them), especially with what seems like very few crossover customers between the 2 platforms. Let's take a look at a smaller CG campaign Mavrics: Origins Vol 1 by Global Frequency Studios. They started on Indiegogo. I'm not positive if they did 30 days or 60 days. They got $26,000 from 309 backers before it went into Indemand ($84 per backer)
They then went to Kickstarter, again I'm not sure for 30 or 60 days, but made $8,604 from 84 backers($102 per backer). They made $7,000 more going to Kickstarter than what they would have made(on average) if they would have stayed Indiegogo only and tried to get on Malins show.
I know they also took both campaign totals when it came to stretch goals and regardless of if you backed on Kickstarter or Indiegogo, everyone gets all the stretch goals. So instead of only getting $27,260(Indemand total) they got $35,864($86 per backer) by using both platforms.

You saw the situation with Preston emerging, you encouraged Vikki & Dean, then you carefully inserted yourself into the conversation by going on their stream and carefully parsing every word you said to hide behind trademark defense speech while you let them walk over the cliff. When you started going on stream with them, you were not concerned about the damage they did to that coin scam Dynamite Comics was running in your name or what comicsgate was thinking about it.

If you were honest, you would have said that you have done more than enough for them by having your own attorney file the briefs first and creating a situation where Vikki/Dean can slipstream along in your legal wake. That its not your responsibility that they can't even come up with the little money it takes to pay an attorney to crib your attorney's notes and say "me too". That the case will probably end on a jurisdictional argument and be over before they need serious legal representation beyond the abilities of free treehouse attorneys like Spectre. Sketch has been slowly turning on Ethan for months. He is always upset about something these days. But he tends to blame it on a conspiracy among the people around Ethan and his stream mods. Sketch is such a loyal soldier that he usually has a tough time processing the idea that anything Ethan does that is wrong is due to Ethan himself. Sketch knows that Ethan's mods are controlled by anti-comicsgate. The Lopresti stream was him getting directly upset at Ethan, but its difficult to know if it will last.

The only thing that might turn Sketch against Ethan would be Ethan doing something bad about Anna. Sketch loves Anna in a John Hinkley stalkerish sort of way.

The feel I got from this is that it is not a push to go trans. The author goes into a lot of the doubts <insert pronoun here> had and why going trans was not the choice made.
