I've seen this making the rounds on Facebook lately, and a lot of people seem to be taking this seriously, despite the fact that it comes off as the biggest Poe i've ever witnessed on the internet.

Real but oh so very autistic nonetheless.

Tran has given no reason for her social media shutdown- we know previous Star Wars actors like John Boyega needed to go on a blackout as part of their NDAs while shooting Force Awakens, so it's just as likely that she had to go dark during Episode 9's production as it is likely she was harassed offline. If she was harassed, no one person can claim credit for it, and anyone looking to do so is trying to generate traffic because they know the media will organize a lynch mob on them.

It honestly looks like a false flag to me. Because of this one post now every SJW on social media can point to it and say “SEE this is why Ghostbuster 2016 bombed, not because it was a horrendously unfunny movie. We need more diversity!.”
 
Am I wrong for thinking people who ruin other's hobbies for politics maybe need to be harassed, like it's not only not bad, but good to harass them? They get away with things that would get them fired in an instant on any other job.

In the 21st century, the roles between "real jobs" and "arts jobs" have been reversed: real jobs were the ones you wanted in previous centuries because they would pay the best, but there's been a huge recent influx of people who want arts jobs, which used to be the can't get a real job jobs. Arts jobs, however, are fun and give the writer an opportunity to express their views and try to get acceptance for their fetishes. Plus the standard of living is incredibly good today, which is why so many people who have arts jobs don't see the lower pay as that big of an issue.

The Ms. Marvel you are fondly remembering is likely Clairemont's. He dialed back the absurd feminism quite a bit and crafted a real likeable and flawed character in Carol. He also used the side books he was writing, Ms. Marvel, Dazzler and Iron Fist as incubators for things that would become mainstays of his X-Men books. Mystique and her Brotherhood including Rogue begin in Ms. Marvel. As does Deathbird and teh Shi'ar. The classic X-Men Hellfire Club/Dark Pheonix Saga actually starts in Iron Fist although few are aware of it. Sabertooth also enters the X-Men pantheon there. Brian Reed's Ms. Marvel book from the 00's was also really good and gave us a fun likable approachable and believable heroic character.

When you put it like that, it would seem the Ms. Marvel that people liked was the twisted version and the SJWs merely reclaimed their comics avatar from the cis men. Interesting. Still, it is interesting that the feminist ideal is essentially a man with size A tits. So we can hope the MCU version will be the Ms. Marvel people liked and remembered. If Disney thinks that the other version is gonna sell to the normie masses they are in for a shock.

It's being thrown around to discredit recent detractors and distract from Solo being a net loss. Some total spergs are like this, more genrally the films are in decline because they're not that good and market over saturation.
 
remember when Sony released the Ghostbusters 2016 trailer and removed comments that said things like "this doesn't look very good" while keeping the stuff that said "OMG WOMEN GO BACK TO THE KITCHEN" and then used that as the basis of their marketing for the film

I honestly think it’s a false flag, it’s sounds exactly like every strawman SJW speds try and paint their opposition as. If it isn’t a false flag, the fucker just legitimize a lot of sped’s persecution complexes.

The group it came from actually exists, and seems to have more posts beside this one. If this is a false flag this is an incredibly over-thought false flag.

EDIT: Oh, yes, and they've apparently been at this shit for months. But yeah, false flag!

I don't know if I entirely believe it, and I think it's whistling past the graveyard to act as though there aren't a few genuinely harassing assholes out there ... but my, my, isn't it interesting everyone's talking about this instead of Solo tanking and The Last Jedi blu-rays not selling like TFA did?

But with a group like the one posted above, who've been doing things like this since December of last year? Who were doing things about Black Panther? Surely it's more logical to claim it's real?

It's been a common thing on 4chan lately (particularly /v/ and /tv/) to just say that anytime that they end up autistically screeching about niggers/women/some other retarded thing they're on about, that they're actually shills paid by EA/Disney/Ubisoft to make their opposition look bad. It's a lot simpler explanation than it is to realize that 85% of people who post on 4chan are honestly complete morons.

Oh yeah just making this up or copying from places that I never read. Uh huh. All I said is there is some chatter about this. Case in point EVS from yesterday noticing the clear pattern of professional astroturfing in the reviews.
It's a long stream but the key stuff starts around the 7 minute mark when he realizes the naming pattern to all the accounts.

Also this guys account is fascinating. He claims to have just come back from a meeting at Lucasfilms. Take it with a grain of salt, but it is fascinating, is it not?
