Kathy Griffin is a completely valueless entity to anyone she's associated with. Disowning her to cover your ass costs zero and represents nothing.
 
As a liberal, I find CNN's behavior unacceptable. There's many other very important things to cover, uncover, and expose than some kid making memes on the Internet. I know I am going to hear the "speech has consequences" argument. It does - but my question is, why did CNN make a mountain range out of a molehill?
 
And yet the capitalism hating left is silent on a globalist mega corporation using their power to harass and bully a private citizen. You'd think this is the sort of thing they'd be furious about.

Because they're not good at this, dude. If you can't fight in the sewer then stay the hell out of the sewer, and don't get lured into the sewer by a guy wearing a t-shirt that has "I love to fight in the sewer" written on it. Say whatever you like about Trump, he's really very good at shit-flinging. He knows when to fling it, who to fling it at, how hard to fling it, and even which type of spin to put on it when it gets flung. CNN doesn't know any of that and they're trying to get into a shit-flinging war with him. As we can see, the end result so far is that they just end up covered in their own shit.
