I just want to say, this trend for "scuba fabric" clothing upsets me because it feels and looks gross and its EVERYWHERE

It's good to see the fashion industry is catering towards slenderman

Oh boy do I remember these pants. You would see groups of greasy teenagers at the mall wearing these pants with their wallet chains and their eyebrow piercings. They were so long and unwieldy that they'd get all dirty and frayed at the bottom. It was an incredibly stupid, gross look, especially on an already awkward, gangly teenager.

Even Z. Cavaricci pants were better than those awful things. (And those were pretty horrendous as well.)

Those stupid giant jeans were awful. And there were kids who would ask for how they could get the bottoms to fray faster because it looked cooler that way.

Same with those stupid Tripp pants from Hot Topic. You weren't "cool" unless you had some overpriced, very cheaply made giant pants with tons of chains hanging. Very bad trend to go along with your God-awful taste in music and your obsession with Invader Zim.

its because mall fashion just hit the "parrot alexander wang 2014" phase

What's worse than Rick Owens Geobaskets? (Which I should mention are Certified Honeypot /r/MFA's favorite shoe)

Ripping them off, and then selling them for $1,000

and how can it get any worse than that? just leave it to fashion hack Jerry Lorenzo; they're a unique and original design! those don't look like geobaskets! i don't know what you're talking about! besides, rick owens ripped off nike!!

(just one of many examples)

if you ever wondered what the asshole who spends $4,000 to wear knock off clown shoes, ripped jeans, a thrasher tee and a sweatband, in hopes one day somebody will think he skates looks like, just search "fear of god haul" on youtube; here's a really good one.

The first pair reminds me of those zip off pants/shorts every overweight 12 year old boy who begs his mom to buy him Magic the Gathering cards owns.

I knew somebody who dressed like that often. She weighs about 230 pounds, was 5'3'' and would wear a dress like this:

She didn't get as many compliments as she hoped.
Maybe it has to do with how much time has passed, but the goth chicks at my middle and high schools never wore anything like that. They pretty much dressed just like the guys but with black eye shadow.

This youtube channel does vid where she wears ugly clothes for a week and legit tries to make them look good.
Four foot sleeves Jean jacket
clear plastic kneed jeans

I'm more offended by the new balances. I never seen anyone look good in a pair of those. When I see people wearing them I think they are a dad, male or female.
