unsurprisingly, because Protogen appeal to newer and/or younger furries by way of being a cool computer species. Surprised Synths from Vader-San haven't picked up more steam since they are a completely open species, as well as have that similar design to Protogen.

That's one thing I don't get about a lot of species that 'catch on'. I still don't get why Angel Dragons are so popular when furred dragons are super common even before they came around.

Protos are an open species if I recall, so anyone can make them and that catches kids attention too I guess. Folk who don't have an easy time making their own designs latch onto stuff like that. Primagens are the paid ones.

it's similar to Dutch Angel Dragons, Semi-open. You can create your own Protogen, but there are rules that you have to follow so you would be considered as a part of the community.

Probably that, and the post about her and farnul from this thread was linked in TH dramas. Perhaps a first sign of mignyans dying once and for all?

considering how much dram came out about them between here, csvent and toyhouse-dramas... well, i think they will back off.
someone on toyhouse-dramas joked about making a psa on the th forums about them, saying it would be capable to cancel them.

I could buy that. They had to delay their monthly adopts strangely, claiming the artists couldn't finish them due to personal reasons. I could believe that Casin0s and her species being heavily mentioned and things coming out has probably made Casin0s go on a DFE mode. Wouldn't be shocked if the mignyan discord would be expunged soon to erase proof of Farnul being a minor and those designers want to get away from it before people start mentioning how Casin0s, a 20 year old woman, is having NSFW links and character relations to a minor that they are aware of being a minor, and how they just made money by working with a creep.

One thing to note, before this deletion episode she had already started moving from DA. She would post her OTA (Offer to Adopt) on there however only wanted offers on her Toyhou.se to be made. An exclusive website that you need an invite code to join. Toyhou.se also makes it extremely easy to swiftly delete entire comment threads, IP ban, and disable profile comments. I think Casin0s was already aware of this thread mentioning her and Farnul's relation and as a preemptive move started to use Toyhou.se more to have an easier way to escape blacklash by saying there's no proof.

That's not including Casin0s's newest drama being one of her designs being heavily referenced, if not copied, from a V-Tuber's already existing one. She'll be lucky if no one makes a PSA on her and cancel her. Even with her popularity I don't think she could survive it.

This wouldn't be a problem had Cas not stressed design theft so hard(nor had been popular for her adopt making skills). It's an open secret that a lot of artist (hobbyist and professionals) occasionally copy designs from each other like a big incestuous family. Just be open about it and people wouldn't care as much.

Casin0s is talking about Fictionkin/fickin, an even more retarded branch of otherkin who "kin" fictional characters instead of other species. Honestly, I fon't blame her since it's fuckin weird for people to walk up to something you created and say "this is me on every level".
